I would look in the craft store, at the glitter products. I bet they have 
something that's clear bits or shards you could use. A lot of Christmas 
ornaments have coatings that look like frost or sugar, I'm sure these are 
available as craft products.

Stan Stokrocki did a glass load in a hopper, maybe he can describe how he did 
it!

Hi everyone, 

So, any ideas out there on how to model broken glass?  Not a little
bit, either, I'm talking a whole gondola-load full of it!  I'm working
on a Glass Block manufactury, and I figure that's a great way to
recycle broken glass - melt it down, add some new glass to the mix,
and cast new blocks!  Only problem is, how to model a gondola full of
broken glass?  Ideas?
