NASG was last out west in 2000, San Jose - joint w/ NMRA. It would be nice to go out west again, all it takes is a group to step up as sponsor.
Cost - always an issue. Remember the local sponsor (club) sets prices not NASG, except of course the non-member fee. There has been some "hot stove league" talk of ways to rein in costs ranging from NASG taking a more active sponsor role, to shortening the event to renting an old fire hall with a Denny's and Motel 6 across the street! It always makes for interesting discussions... Jim K.
