Bill, Have you tried to correct the resin parts by softening them with hot water and then getting them to a good flat plate and cooling them off quickly with cold water.....you can't pull on them and I would use vinyl gloves it might leave fingerprints otherwise ( and watch the texture surface on the gloves too)

If you ever have a chance to acquire and use a Design Tech kit, DO IT.
