In MN, and most parts of the north where snow is not a big deal they have things I learned that Texas has never heard of. Big A** snow plows and salt trucks. And most people use real winter tires, not the no season ones supplied by the manufacturers. I have never been stuck in my old BMW but then part of the Thanksgiving holiday is swapping the hi performance summer tires for real Euro winter tires.
