I could not help but notice the comments on turnouts and standards last week.
Today I notice the following post by a prominent model railroader on another
list, referring to HO track;
"> We need the whole array of code 55 trackwork--wyes, crossings, #8 curved,
nos. 4-10, etc.
Same for code 70. ME has only the no. 6 (apparently, a bit sharper than that)
turnout, and Shinohara code 70 TOs -- if you can even find them -- are built to
1950s standards. "
So these issues do not affect S scale alone.
