Hi Ed...No experience with the combination of NWSL/Sagami, but do know that the 
original Miller drive was a speed demon and could not be slowed down to 
switching speeds.  The axles were also the armature shaft and the wheels were 
segmented and rails served as brushes. No gears at all.  A "direct drive" in 
every sense of the word.  Most any other arrangement of motor/gears would be an
