I've been out of pocket for a while and have just picked up on this thread.
Here is a link to the Radio Control for Small Scale thread started on May 15th, 2007 - primarily using Bachmann's On30 motive power - which is awfully close in size to 1:64 stuff! http://www.freerails.com/view_topic.php?id=1221&forum_id=45 I have the Losi transmitter/ESC board and their 7.4 volt LiPo battery system stuffed into the back of my Matchbox Acorn Moving & Storage truck - but I dropped it & messed up the motor (from an old Bachmann HO GE 44-tonner) and am waiting for a replacement to arrive. No sound (gets boring to me very quickly) - but - also no track cleaning or reverse loop wiring. Finally, I've got my pole road logging operation in the works now - oops - better not talk about over sized flanges on this forum - it is a scale forum after all - my bad! More later - if you're interested.
