To address Ed's other point, while things could clearly be better, I'll bet between the major S dealers (Port Lines, Hoquat, Des Plaines, 'S'cenery Unlimited, a handful of others), Ebay and this list one can still acquire what is needed to build a nice layout. If a particular model is not immediately available, it probably will pop up on one of those venues if you wait, and work on other projects in the mean time. Seriously, how many of us would run out of projects if we never bought another kit or S model? Not that that is going to happen... Meanwhile, some of us can certainly help out a newcomer and recover some funds at the same time. Pieter E.
