Back a few years ago, someone--might have been Bill Darnaby of the Maumee
lines--wrote a series of articles about adapting the AHM HO 12-1 Pullman into
a variety of other Pullman types and explained how to add the AC bubble. Would
what he wrote be helpful in altering a Northeastern clerestory roof as well?
Note that air-condition ducts on clerestory cars were over spaces occupied by
passengers. You would not find them over corridors, lockers, or similar spaces.
On a diner, for example, the dining room was air-conditioned but not the
kitchen or the corridor alongside the kitchen.
The three American Models 85-foot cars have the same roof, but it is correct
for one car only.
