Dear Chris (eye roller?),
   OK, I will admit that the A/C Pullman roof was correct only for the  
12-1.  But, times were different in S scale then.  Tooling was and  
still is very expensive.  We were all pretty sure that the 72' cars  
would sell just fine, but the longer cars were a big question mark.    
So, the 10-1-2 and cafe got the 12-1 roof.  The 10-1-2 is a little  
off, the cafe car...oh well....one could use NE roof stock to correct  
them...

PS  You can add the truss rods to the cafe car to be correct...
