  Hi Don, I'd guess they ran as slow as they locos would go, it was all a 
switching area with tight curves and people working unloading cars etc. Here's 
a link to a website with some photos and info. Scroll towards the end for shots 
of the 44 tonner. If I was modeling it I'd use one of your SW-1 switchers for 
reliability and slow speed performance (if it can take 17 inch radius) and try 
to add a sound decoder into it so I could have switching operations sounds....
