Jim, I concur with Pieter on the issue of sound. I just dealt with that same issue with my RS-1. I had entertained the idea of drilling holes in the top radiator of the long hood (since there is a nice cover over it), but in the end decided that having it point down through the trucks would be better. Now that the engine is running, I can attest to the fact that you cannot tell where the sound is coming from, but rather there is more of an "overall" sound coming from the engine.
