This is my first install of sound and in a US prototype (I'm more used to UK Victorian prototypes) so it has been an interesting exercise in fitting the chip and speaker in, I had intended to put the speaker in the fuel tank but that seemed that it would involve a lot of major metal work on the chassis and I decided to fit it in the top of the hood, and pointing upwards under the fan vents seemed logical :-) >>Also, this article may be of help: > >>http://www.tonystrains.com/download/loco_acoustics_design.pdf > Many thanks for that pointer.
