Depends on how good your trackwork is with respect to (NMRA) standards.
Flangeway paths can be difficult, especially if you have been around long
enough to have both widths on your wheelsets, from before NASG and NMRA
standards were merged. DJE

Do guard rails on bridges, turntables etc. actually work or are they
