Don't confuse my enthusiasm with boldness in the sense that you are implying.
I have never once, ever said anything to suggest that a product wouldn't sell
just because I, personally, had no interest in it... or could not use it... or
didn't like it... or whatever, which your comment seemed to me to suggest. If
I had no interest in it, I either said nothing after reading the post, or never
read the post in the first place due to the title of the post being descrptive
enough for me to know that I had no interest in the content. Now, I have tried
many times to get S scalers to rally together behind new products of various
types... even behind some models that I was not going to buy (like the SMMW
Waffle Side Box Car), but that is enthusiasm and love for the hobby and scale
and their growth. But never have I said anything to hinder the production of
or to sway others away from any project that someone else was working on.
Never a stumbling stone... but I have most definitely stumbled over a boat load
of others in this scale who are.
Like I said countless times about my SAL B-7 box car... if someone doesn't want
it because you don't like building kits or because it ain't compatable with
AF... the just don't buy it, and drop the topic or stay out of it altogether!
But don't try to prevent me from getting it or tell me I shouldn't have it (or
want it) because you don't like it.
