Midgage offered the converted AF K-5. It had a bronze frame, die-cast 
drivers and add on detail. Bill Stewart made a deal with A. C. to 
receive a number of K-5 boiler shells, cylinder saddles, pilots, 
trailer truck frames and tender bodies in return for designing the 
tooling for the AF extruded aluminum passenger cars. The boiler 
shells had the details ground off  (at AF) beneath the running boards 
to accommodate the scale valve gear. They can be distinguished by the 
fact that they were factory painted.  The tenders had a bronze floor 
and the correct Pennsy trucks.

SuperScale also made a 600 HP EMC switcher. It was offered less 
trucks (presumably the buyer could adapt Miller power trucks). If I 
recall correctly it was made of stamped brass.
