The Island Airways had one or more Ford trimotors that operated out of northern
Ohio to the Lake Erie islands. When that operation quit or quit using the Ford
trimotor, one--maybe the outfit had only one such--the new owner loaned it to
the Kalamazoo Air Zoo. That's what they call the airplane museum up here. For
a few months, possibly for a year, the air museum offered rides in the trimotor
on Saturdays and Sundays. Don't know what happened to the trimotor, but it's
not at the airplane museum now.

and he notes -

Stinson started the line in 1946 and when S Gauge fizzled in the 50's
he sold it to Charlie Beedle who marketed the inventory as "Nord".

BTW there was an aircraft manufacturer. named Stinson that made
Tri-motors back in the 20's and 30's. Island Airways had several of
'em operating into the late 50s (or 60's - can't recall). They were
perfect for the short runways on the Lake Erie islands.
