The Island Airways had one or more Ford trimotors that operated out of northern Ohio to the Lake Erie islands. When that operation quit or quit using the Ford trimotor, one--maybe the outfit had only one such--the new owner loaned it to the Kalamazoo Air Zoo. That's what they call the airplane museum up here. For a few months, possibly for a year, the air museum offered rides in the trimotor on Saturdays and Sundays. Don't know what happened to the trimotor, but it's not at the airplane museum now.
