David; I want to do similar so here goes. 1 truss rod flat car 2 Climax logging trucks 1 Rivarsco or TMW vertical boiler 1 Rivarsco "Marine" engine 1 NWSL # - 10/12x12 motor 1 NWSL # - Transfer case 1 NWSL bevel gears for trucks
The marine engine is a floor line model and the crank shaft is below the floor. It is protected with a sheet medal shield and we will use this to hide our motor. The prototype used open gears and you can do this or use the transfer case, and we want the gear noise. Then shafts to the trucks and bevel gears as per prototype. Another source for the trucks etc is On30 but that stuff may be too big.

The hard part will be figuring out how to build the Class A Climax. I’d like one gauged for Sn3 also, but that one could be a little larger. Cars would probably just be some wooden disconnects and I’d use link and pin couplers.
