Guys & Gals: Here's a link to a 'steam up' held several years ago. It's stuff like this that is likely to help our hobby survive. Many parks have live steam groups and it's obvious that they aren't going to build that in the backyard! This is the place that local groups sponsored by the manufacturers, mail order co. and hobby shops could use to promote the smaller stuff. Also notice the number of fairly young guys and teens among the typical pot-bellied, gray-haired guys! There is some really good video and well-done sound for the entire production.
