Hi John,

Thanks, but even if your "condiments" are steak and lobster, it ain't gonna
happen! I sincerely doubt that Frank has been doing much of anything towards
actually making these couplers a reality, the last I heard he had decided to
give up on the investment casting process and bite the bullet by having
die-casting molds cut. That was quite a while ago, and now he seems to be back
in investment casting mode.

I fear that he is just stringing everyone along on this, and sooner or later
you'll probably reach the same conclusion. I hope I'm wrong, for your sake, but
after more than 25 years in S scale, I will not wait any longer for couplers,
especially since the Kadees are available and work pretty well. By the time
Sergent S scale couplers do come out (if ever), I will not want to re-equip
those cars I already have equipped with Kadees.

Just for the record, when I added the line "Enough is Enough" to the message
header, I was referring to the excuses coming from Sergent, not your updates,
which I actually find useful, since contacting Sergent Engineering directly is
all but impossible.

Hang in there,
Bill in FtL
