What S scale needs is patience. (like life) Just because someone has a new or different idea you don't need to burn them at a stake. Overly "religious" people love that solution. It seems like about 5 years since I first saw the old S sergents and they are still not on the market in reliable quantity. If he'd licensed the design to KD or someone else with production experience and capacity the guys who want sergents could have been using them for 4 years.
