The "OLD" Sergent couplers have not actually been out of production for too long... maybe about the 5 year period you mentioned... give or take. But you gotta remember that it wasn't but about a year ago or so that I finally got a confirmation from Sergentthat he had actually decided to do a new S coupler. Up until then I was still trying to convince him.to do it. So really, it has NOT been nearly as long as some folks believe and/or suggest.
