Sergents look a bit better but they will probably decrease the flawlessness a
bit. They seem to be more touchy than KD's when it comes to coupling and
uncoupling. Having a small ball in an inaccessible cylinder has to increase
the chances of a hang up compared to the open design of KD's where everything
is out in the open and easy to examine. It will be interesting to see how
Sergents are working after they get a few years of crud inside them? I've tried
every kind of knuckle coupler available over the years and never found any as
reliable as KD's. I would use Sergents if looks are most important but until
they have a proved long term track record wouldn't use them if flawlessness was
the first priority......DaveBranum
