Me too, Ed. Maybe model railroading is something that gets imbedded in the
psyche at an early age. I remember being able to watch trains do their thing
close up and then go home and try to duplicate what I saw on my AF layout.
Strange thing is - I knew enough to stay out of harm's way, too. Model
railroading is something that has stayed with me over the years, through thick
and thin. Even when the prospect of a layout looked so bleak as to be
non-existant, I still never lost hope. I think few kids today have such a goal,
nd I think that's a shame
