---Good point. Walk into any surviving hobby shop, what do you see? HO, N,
Lionel O. S? With the exception of a very few select shops, S is nowhere to be
found.
Holliday sales in non-traditional train stores? Lionel O and cheap G gauge
sets. maybe even Leggo trains. S? MIA.

I'm pretty sure smaller locomotive will come. MTH has all of the SHS
resources. And, let's face it, Lionel/Flyer wouldn't have gotten the buzz it
has with F units or GP's. Plus the larger locomotives can contain their
current electronics.
And, don't forget, American Models is still out there. With all the buzz about
Lionel and MTH, they seem to get forgotten.
S Scale, HiRail and Flyer/compatible is at the beginning of it's second reboot,
coming off the dark times after Sanda Kan fired their customers. It's going to
take a little time to get the products reestablished.
