 you can check they were indeed not installed.

 Of course, you don't need patch and zlib-devel if you use the fixed spkg I
 posted at #13844 and #13914, not sure about libgc-devel, but hey it was
 not there and I had no problems yet.
 Of course I did not test everything so if it appears it is really needed,
 I'll put it back it as a prereq to "run" Sage.
