 If both you oon XP and I on 7 are able to "build" PARI, then these changes
 should definitely get in.
 They remove useless Cygwin specific "hacks", so this is a good thing.

 And as I said, I think the second one is indeed useless, I barely have
 doubts about that, as it must have been fixed by a patch I suggested
 upstream.

 As far as the second one is concerned, the fact you could build PARI
 leaves little doubt as well.
