 Thank you. That makes more sense now. I will take a read of the ATLAS
 docs. I would like to update the ATLAS package, but it is is a bit of a
 mess - bash, perl, python scripts all over the place. Loads of patches.

 I've already opened #9780 to add the link we need. I'll create a patch.
