Yes, and I get something similar in Comment 14. My question is that I
would like to see what you get for `res[0]` and `res[1]` on a machine
where it supposedly works, because on my 10.6 Mac (where `roots` is
correct) I also get `0.0` for those, just like on the machine where
`roots` is incorrect. I hope this clarifies what I meant.
