Comment(by kcrisman):
Okay, I'm trying to look at this numpy package, and have some questions.
First, there are all these special instructions in the SPKG.txt that seem
to be totally irrelevant now about the `sage_fcompiler` etc. for gfortran
and so forth. Is all that unnecessary now that we exported F*, or not? I
assume drkirkby would be the most knowledgeable about this. I know we
tested this a lot, but it still worries me, since I know little about such
things.
Second, I think that jhpalmieri's spkg should be 1.5.0.p0, correct? And
that should also be in SPKG.txt.
Next, toward the end it should be `SciPy` not `SciPY`.
Also, 11 hours ago someone pointed on on the Numpy trac that
[http://github.com/matthew-brett/numpy/compare/numpy:master...farchs-
from-c this] might solve our issue more appropriately. I was going to try
to make a numpy spkg based on the other fix, but this might be better - I
have to look at it and test it. Anyway, an update.
