Greetings To You All,
Annette, through the grace of God the family and me are doing well. I know
that all is well with you and the family. I am now in the US of A enjoying the
wealth and life style ( fruit } this part of the world provides thanks to
those with the fore sight who against all odds sacrificed to provide it. We
could do with a change in the administration, but the people here are wonderful.
I thoroughly enjoy your postings with the Wise(dom) cracks and absolutely
agree with you in making mistakes both in commission and omission.
Please give Llewellyn my regards, I've been home off work and will be for a
long time, I enjoy being Mr. mom. We have two girls Raquel 10 yrs and Shauna 8
yrs and am blessed to be there with and for them in their formative years
probably more than they would have liked.
I volunteer in their school when I am up to it and teach religion to the
third graders in our parish every Sunday, My next major occupation is keeping
up with doctors appointments.
I make quite a few trips to Toronto, Canada which is the next best place to
Goa where my heart belongs and yearn to be back.
Rico, sorry for waking you up so late, I tried to keep up the next two nights
but it didn't work. We will connect, I am sure you and the family are well. Yes
I remember the seven tiles, badminton, table tennis, carrom and tombola times
they are treasures I pull out ever so often. Give my best to Rici and Clare and
keep up the good work you are doing, it is really appreciated.
Alan in the spirit of Christmas all the very best to you and the family. You
must be well settled in your new found home and doing well for your self, I
meet up with Nobby quite often and catch up with the news of the family.
Those who Knew me know that I never had any intentions of leaving India, even
to go to the Middle East even though I had many an opportunity. It was the
pursuation of my wife who I chose to marry with the help of my immediate and
extended family along with good friends that landed me here. I have no regrets
it has broadened my mind. Money never was and hopefully will never be a major
motivator for me, it comes hard and it comes easy but one thing for sure it
goes very easy. I put myself in my wife's place and the willingness to make a
change that brought me here.
Kevin, you are a noble person by not responding you have shown the strength
of the metal in you. Thanks to the values and the up bringing instilled in you.
Keep up the good you do, but when you fall and get hurt, sometimes I will
help you heal, but most of the time I will join the group that adds salt and
vinegar to your wounds as it gives me great pleasure since I cannot be creative
and proactive like you. Patsy, there is nothing to be ashamed of, I am proud to
be a member of a family with their achievements and who dare to make a change
for the better with the best of intentions.
Mario, Muriel, Nicholas, Rico, Alice, Dean and so many of you who are
striving to make dreams a reality ( I HAVE A DREAM ), keep up the good work my
prayers and thoughts are with you during this solemn season. Your efforts will
not go unrewarded and your legacy will speak for itself. I was a firm beleiver
of go with system as it was so much easier. But I now see that standing up to
and speaking out for what you believe in is so fulfilling that no ammount of
wealth can compensate.
Joe, Patsy, Anthony, Rico....... continue to take us down the nostalgic
memory lane. Time has gone by so quickly seems like another world.
Albert, what's up ? haven't seen any postings from you for a while are the
banks, electricity dept and post office performing upto expectations ? keep it
coming we like to hear your views.
