Yes - it is a great feature. It dropped my jaw when i saw it too. But after several changes too it, it remains slightly (or worse) broken :( I have not implemented it in ScidvsPC because i have been waiting for it to be fixed. The filter is fundamental to so many aspects of Scid, it is not acceptable to have it half working. It also causes crashes i believe. Gerd is the primary author. He now uses Chessbase. So implementing it will not be done in the next release of my project. It needs some serious examination, and debugging over a full release cycle.
