I spent four years debugging this code. 1375 svn commits, and
another year beforehand with only patches.

Since you are keen on Git, and i am not keen on learning it,
perhaps a *better plan* is to import scidvspc svn to scid svn
(which is currently not enabled) and do the doco renames
and window docking feature here. This way i will not interupt
your VCS. If the bugs in Git get fixed, this will be good for future
reference.

Sorry Fulvio, but AFAICS you do not have file release permissions.

It'd be nice to adopt your game history feature;
but as a menu somewhere - similar to the file history we
already have. Your bestgames widget is interesting,
and i am open to including it in some way.

Perhaps Alex will comment again... but if not, please respect
his request to me to merge the projects and giving me
file release permissions.
