Raid does a couple of things. One it makes your system if it has more than 1
hard drive look as if it is one total hard drive.
This could be good or it could be bad. If you have a system crash ,
depending on what raid settings that you have , you could loose all of your
data. This happens cuz if you have more than 1 hard drive , say that you
have 2 of them, when ever you load a program on your system it spreads out
the data on all of the hard drives, thus if you loose a drive the whole
thing is lost.{that depends on what raid setup that you have}
