I think Tim is correct when, as he says, you have Raid set up that
particular way.  But, another way to set it up, I THINK, is such that if one
harddrive is lost, the other will still contain the data.  Knowing very
little about it, altho' I have a mobo w/that capability, the advantage can
be speed and/or protection; if I am correct, there are 4 ways to set it
up--just wanted to mention this 2nd advantage which may be subject to error.
Hope this brings out someone with one, complete answer--I'm interested too.
