In FM 7.2, is it possible to use a variable in the following locations?
1. Within the text of an index marker?
2. As the directory path of a text inset or a graphic?

Yes, for some reason my Right master page lost it's A name/was renamed
to HIDDEN. And everytime I imported a new text inset it reapplied the
HIDDEN text frame name of all instances of the Right body page.
Bummer. I fixed it by renaming the master page and then deleting the

When I've seen this, there are Master Pages that do not contain a text flow
"A". Everything's OK until you view Master Pages, then view Body Pages and
Remove Overrides.
Try renaming your main body flow back to "A"

Rick,
The statement was made in 2004... not that the timing changes things a
lot, but FM is looking more viable from 2007 than it did back then. I
think. ;- )

Hi
In addition to receiving frameusers at work, I would also like to receive it
at home, at this e-mail address: smays at videotron.ca.
Is this possible? If yes, could the options be the same as at work (daily
digest).
Thanks
Steven

The approved nomenclature for "acronym" is TLA or YAA --
Three-Letter Acronym or Yet Another Acronym. 8^)
Hope this amuses, if not helps.

Hi David...
Neither of those are possible with "default" Frame. We do have a plugin,
MarkerTools, that lets you use variables within markers ..

That's an interesting idea of changing the path for references based on
a variable's value .
