Spotty and Spotty Connect is a lot louder than music from my library.
The volume differs between Spotify (Spotty) tracks to.

It is old :-) The Pi runing pcp is a B+ I think, possibly a 2. Pcp
version is 1.18b and it use a HiFi Berry card for sound. The LMS is a 2.

Added to playlists and
Craig,
could you add a 'More' item to year (song details page/context menu).
That way I could access -DynamicPlaylist menu items- registered for
-year- ('Rated tracks from this year', 'Random tracks from year'...)
like I can on pCP. Thank you.
I also live in France, and normally start my day with the 'Today' progam
on R4 via the excellent Sounds plugin.
This mornings program was littered with the rights restriction message,
at seemingly random times, so I too suspect a wrong button press or two,
altough there was a fair amount of

Perhaps my old NAS is off support? Spotty was working prior to the
upgrade of the QPKG to 2.1 (which included Spotty 4.5.3)
Oh, it did work before an OS update? What might have happened is that
some dependency (glibc) or something changed in the OS. But these
libraries usually get newer

On a related note. Is there any possibility of getting the podcast
description via 'More'? This can be achieved from the search results,
but not from the main podcast listing (and not in Default skin ('M'
button) either).

Looks like Material is now doing the same as Default Skin - i.e. able to
set podcast feeds as favourite.
Nope. With default skin you can set a subscribed feed (as in -not- a
search result) as a favourite, which you cannot do with Material - as
the URL required to use when storing a favourite is

Thanks Michael, I had tried based on reading other posts, the
Transcoding for Ogg is actual greyed out in my File Types. I did try to
turn all transcoding off and choosing one at a time but to not avail

they are a bit old and running old versions.

If I include a custom font in my plugin that includes this character (I
really only need this 1 character) is it possible to display this
character on jivelite *without* installing a new font? Or was that only
a thing with the older Logitech devices (line display)?
Correct, the custom fonts as

play tracks where the artist in question matched the
I tagged version 3.0.0 today. Highlights since 2.0.0:
- Auto-detection of LMS on the local network.
- Expanded documentation.
- Assorted bugfixes and minor improvements.

Michael,
I'm posting this question here because your plugin includes custom fonts
that allow you to use custom charcters on the display of some devices.
And since you're the LMS core developer I'm hoping for a final
possible/not possible answer.
I'd very much like to use the *blackstar unicode

I agree with Paul and finger trouble is an issue especially where
programs get delayed such as football going into extra time or with
cricket where rain stops play.

If I then ask MediaServer to play something by 'Steely' then a selection
of Steely Dan songs do play.
