Dbpause doesn't close files. It blocks updates by UniData processes to UniData

Do you have any problem when using a UniBasic DELETE instead of an ECL DELETE?

nt or permission setting. On Windows
UniData uses memory mapped files to mimic UNIX shared memory.

Bob:
Just wanted to make sure that if you are experiencing the problem we resolved
(noted below), you will have to upgrade to a UV version that is 10.1.15 or
later to get the fix.

The last 10.0.x patch was released in November 2003.
Current UV version for AIX is 11.1.0 - Oct 2010
Latest 10.3 patch for AIX was 10.3.9 - Nov 2010
Both were ported on AIX 5.3 - so you are good with your OS release.

Perhaps a UV upgrade is in order?

connected to our network. As an alternative - I tried using Filezilla. Works
like a charm.

Hi, Kevin.
I don't find any support cases opened by you recently.
Can you provide a support case number so I can review your interaction with our
team and the technical bits, as well.
thanks

No changes come to mind in this area between 7.1 and 7.2.
Look carefully at the environments - particularly associated VOC entries for
verbs and/or cataloged pointers.

How long of a data string to you want to index?
This mostly has a bearing on the block-size of the index file (the key length
setting)
