Richard said it well, there really is no installation required unless you want
the speakers wall mounted in which case you or somebody else would have to find
a stud in your wall and screw
I don’t remember it ever being that bad,

There are settings under the music app on your iPhone. Those settings only
control the music that you are playing from your iPhone. They will not control

Yes, you can connect up to three devices. When you have VoiceOver on all three
devices, it can get a little bit confusing. Whatever device is outputting sound
will take control of the speaker.
