I'm interested in that playthrough and will have a listen if you post a link. I don't see one.Thanks for the answers to those questions. I just won't buy Potsihitsu or Plain Road or anything in the shop then.I have like 14 attack and 14 defense right now, and about 250HP, and nothing is even coming close to damaging me on normal. I just beat Forest of Winds in about eight minutes flat. Did the fencer as well, and I went pure melee on his ass. Took about 8% of my health overall in damage before I wrecked him. I figure I'm gonna need this if I want to do impossible/metallic/desperate mode, or want to have a fighting chance at the extra episode. I'm really excited to try that, actually.Elena, Lilia, and to some extent Aria are all pretty high-pitched. The girl who voices Aria sounds like she speaks at a more typical contralto pitch when just speaking naturally, but can make her voice go higher. Lilia's voice actor, though, she sounds
  very chirpy no matter what she's saying. Hell, for all I know, she's doing that whole thing in character, I'm not sure.

hi guys, for anyone who played naruto ultimate ninja heroes 3, I need urgent help.I am at chapter 3, mission 4 or 5, I'm not really sure about it.in that mission, I am playing as might guy, and he has to remove the tags to break the barrier. I go right, kill the enemies, until I reach a fiery trap with an enemy in it.I kill them and when I go passed that fireball trap, I jump up but I can't advance. any tips on how to complete this mission? it's at the part after the fight between naruto and sakura.

Its actually the best thing I've read so far, and at least that touched my heart a lt.After all, the same things they did to Jesus are gonna be done to us as well, because the servant is not greater   than his master as he said. I've had quite a bit of coding experience, in BGT and in other languages, and I would be happy to help Aaron make Manamon a better game. I could also help with corrections to the script. Of course, he probably wouldn't want to just give the source to people. Developers are very protective of their source, and with good reason. You don't distribute the source to a project that you hope to make money from. The person you give it to could make modifications to it, and try to sell it as a new game, or just post the source for everyone to look at. Still, if he were open to the idea of having development partners, I wouldn't hesitate to offer my services.

okay I'll try to tackle these in order, hahabeing able to level your swordyou'll notice that when you level up last hope, one of the characters's stats is increasedyou need the character that the level will affect before you can actually level, if that makes sense1. basically, that's kill as many slimes as possible in the time limit2. I believe that's a bug... but no scores doesn't really matterthat's really what the skyscraper is for, is for you to try and top your scores3. my japanese isn't really that good at all so I can't tell what they're saying, as for the voices they don't actually sound like that, it's a thing you see a lot in anime or games thoughwhich females in particular are you thinking? lol lilia's the only one I can really think of off the top of my head, the rest seem perfectly normal to me4. last hope eternal... hehyou'll see me lookin
 g around at this in the playthrough, but basically, your sword's max level gets increased from 15 to... wait for it... 100yes, it does go up to 100 but I've only gotten half way there so farfor anyone who's interested, part 1 of the speedrun/100 percent completion guide is finished recording, if I sit down for a while I can probably have the rest hammered out in the next 24 hoursI'm playing on desperate mode, although unfortunately that doesn't really mean much at this point because for all intents and purposes being able to buy items, as well as the sheer number of runs I've completed has made my character turn on god mode... aside from pits anywaysI'm actually debating hacking the game to reduce some of my defense items... I'm not taking even a moderate amount of damage from anything at this point, let alone my 2 or 3K HP

Regarding the lagging sound, that should be happening so as not to drown out the speech.The only problem I could see is the app not opening on the first try. If that happens, press VO+Shift+M on the manamon app, then select open. A dialog box should appear. Just press the "open" or "Open anyway" button, and you should be good to go.

The Arcade games. So I was wonder what people think of the arcade games in this game. I wonder if it is possible to beat any of them. I made it through ten rounds of Manamon Simon Game and then got my butt kicked. But I came out with 177 credits extra. When I saw arcade, I was hoping they would have stuff like pacMan in there and what not. Some DigDug, Phozon, etc. But O well.

If it's the hideout, the teleporter is above you once you push the box eight spaces to the left. You then have to get under it and push it straight ut. If pushing it eight spaces to the left is too far, and you can't get under it, try seven spaces and see if that works.I assure you that regarding development and stuff, I'm not making things up. I'm not inventing things Aaron said, I'm not twisting his words, and I'm not downplaying the effort it takes to do new things. Like I said, if someone is able to teach me enough of BGT that I could work with existing source code and could create objects that did specific things, or edit manamon stats, or change move types, or create new moves, I'd love to learn. I'm a fairly quick study but I learn best by being taught. Put another way, I'm willing to back up what I say with action if I'm pressed. I'm not just slamming Aaron, and indeed I'm not intending him any harm whatsoe
 ver.The absolute worst thing that can be said here is that VG Storm is a company that doesn't support their products well. Once you get a product, don't expect serious tweaks to that product. Buy, or don't buy, with that knowledge in mind. That doesn't mean they shouldn't sell. It is a bit shifty in my opinion - almost every product out there could use some tweaking, particularly after your player base gets at it and starts making good suggestions - but it's not illegal or immoral. When I say shifty, a better word in this case is questionable, in my own opinion. To me there's every reason to keep releasing updates, and no reason not to. You don't just let a project die once you release the first version and a few bug fixes. If you want it to survive, to potentially keep making you money, to support you in a professional business sense, you absolutely, categorically must support it more diligently. This includes such things as a detailed
  change log, a willingness to edit your script, and active acceptance of the fact that some concepts, when tested, did not work as you intended.But no. At no point am I making stuff up or getting ideas in my head. Everything follows from things that have been said, done (or not done) or directly suggested here.

ok guys sorry for this post but for the life of me I still can't figure out moving the box on the teleporter  I followed directions to get there I moved over four times and got the sound that Jayde was talking about then I moved over the eight spaces that she said to do but for I can't find the way to get the box to move on the teleporter Orial gomaz told me to look for gaps to the right and north gap also. but I couldn't find it. can someone please give me exactly how many spaces I have to go to get the box to move and how to follow through. sorry for the long post and sorry for not understanding what to do. I have been trying this for about 3 hours now lol please help if you can thanks

Okay, stupid question.I beat the game, transferred my sword level over. It's level 8, I have 21900 experience and need only 2 to level, but the sword won't level up. I'm now playing on normal instead of easy, and I just got done cleaning up some exploring. I'm about to go to the volcano.I thought the only thing the sword needed to level was experience. I have more than enough. What's more, I've killed nearly 600 monsters already, so that shouldn't be a problem.Is the level of the sword limited based on your difficulty? If so, am I gonna be stuck with a level 8 sword for the entire playthrough? I suppose that just means I can get like 2-3 levels as soon as I start playing on hard, but that's still a pain in the neck.I found that place on the map that spawns health like nobody's business, by the way, as well as another couple of little caves with items or whatnot in them. Holden, the system that seems to cause the least problems is Transgaming's Cider, which was used for the mac port of GTA San Andreas which you can buy in the app store. That seems to not have different problems with different machines, because it's a more solid implementation. Problem is, their market is geared toward developers, and it doesn't look like it's free.

The problem with some of this thinking is that for several years now, malware authors have been attempting to get malicious ads placed on legitimate advertising networks (a practice commonly called malvertising). Also, sites can be hacked, and their pages changed to distribute malware, and the worst part is that now you don't even necessarily have to click anything to start the infection. The moment you go to an infected site, it may try a number of exploits against your machine, until it is successful in installing malware.I also wish Avast was accessible. It seems to be very good, but it doesn't do me much good if I can't navigate the interface. NVDA object nav is useless. You have to use screen navigation, and even then, you can't get to all of the content. One thing AVast does have going for it, is that it has a scanner that scans pages before they are displayed, and prevents you from viewing the page if a threat is detected.

hi,A bit of a correction on avira. Avira does not just detect viruses. Avira is also capable of detecting all manner of unwanted software such as adware, spyware, worms, rogue software etc. It isn't less capable than any other software package discussed here.

Thanks, Dark! That was what I needed. Like you, I'm not interested in having to write a bunch of code to play a game, and I don't care for ggames that are so heavy on role playing that you end up spending more time managing your character's stats than actually playing the game.Being an avid reader, sound effects in a game would be nice, but story telling is always more important. I'm a huge fan of the Infocom adventures, especially the original Zork trilogy. That was and still is my favorite interactive fiction game.From what you've said, I believe I'll start with Mush Client since I don't want to spend any money yet on a genre I may end up not liking.That said, where can I find the needed add ons to make it more accessible when using JAWS?

Thus far my attempts to get NVDA to work inside the Rhythm Rage wrapper have been unsuccessful. I'll keep watching the updates though and if at some point Oriol adds Sapi support I should be able to make it work no problem. As I said earlier, right now the game itself works, there's just no speech.

@figment,that actually used to be the case.  If I recall correctly, windows defender first showed up on vista as simply that, a spyware removal tool.  When windows 8 was introduced, MS revamped it and,  at the risk of possibly looking like it was ready to monopolize on an industry it had barely touched, reintroduced it to windows users.

I don't notice any problems on my end. The only real problem with putting a port out there is that everyone has a different problem it seems. For some everything runs well as is, others can't get it to work at all and for some there's an issue with speech or sounds somewhere. Hopefully as more people try this out and tell me something about their setups we'll be able to make it run better. I'm very new at this but I want to make sure that as often as possible those with Macs aren't left out in the rain when it comes to games. I love having a Mac and would never go back to Windows as my home machine but it does kind of irritate me that more debs haven't made Mac versions of their games available. I understand it's partly a money thing; still not enough people have Macs to justify it I guess but I'm hoping that myself and a few other people can start sharing their ports of games so that we can be with everyone else as often as possible.

Does this have no audio latency? When running any app through Wine, or a self-contained bundle, I always seem to have problems with audio latency. The speech is fine but the actual sounds tend to lag. The Manamon port I created has this problem.

ah cool. I have some other ideas wich could be usefull, especially if you'll add missions. You could implement a crouching and a ducking feature. Also an ability to move very quite and a silencer for some of the guns could be good things. So you could implement stealth missions or elements and situations were you have to act stealthy as well. And maybe places were you and the enemies can hide would be good too, so surprising and strategic fights could be possible like in other shooting games as well.

It's really too bad that I don't have access to any kind of sighted assistance. I tried installing NVDA inside the Rhythm Rage wrapper and I hear the tone that lets me know NVDA is running however there is no speech. I've also tried making a portable version from a Windows machine I have, loading that onto a thumb drive and using that on the Wineskin wrapper with the same result. I hear the piano tone but then nothing. I don't suppose anyone here has any thoughts?

I think I am going to add a timer. If you go offline you can't come back again for 5 minutes. I think that this is justified. If you have to go eat, use AFK. If you are done, you'll go offline and not come back for a bit. It would stop these fucking assholes from going offline every time they are about to loos and just coming back online. It's a stupid dick move and it's going to be stopped.

@Aaron, that is very good to know, I wasn't aware it was quite that easy to uncoouple MushZ from alteraeon.@Figment a mud is a multiplayer real time text game. You connect to a mud server somewhere and text is sent to your computer via a client in real time which describes the surroundings of your character and what is going on. Text wise it's similar to interactive fiction games like Zork, eg, you walk around a series of rooms with directional commands and use "get and "take and inventory as such, but the games are very different firstly since most muds tend to be either roleplaying or rpg based with heavy statistical combat and other activities, and secondly that being real time events keep happening whether you type or not. so for example you might walk into a room and see a description, like "You are in a small cramped cell with a wrack in one corner with a prisoner tied to it and pools of stagnent water across the stone floor&
 quot; However if a goblin entered the cell and attacked you the combat would be automatic and you'd continually get messages like "You swing at the goblin and hit, the goblin swings at you, you have some nasty wounds and bruises" etc.This does mean you need a client that will automatically read incoming speech as quickly as possible, and give you the best ability to respond similarly quickly. some games have low spam modes for visually impared players, but others don't, it doesn't sound like harshlands does. Clients also let you program certain aspects and behaviours, so for example triggers can automatically have the client type a command when you enter a room, in the above example for instance you might have a trigger that whenever the text "you have some nasty wounds and bruises" appears, automaticaly types  "Cast cure light wounds" Personally,I am not interested in reprogramming an e
 ntire interface for a game, and any mud that is so spammy, ie, has such lengthy text as to mean I can only be on equal footing with sighted players by intensive programming and knolidge of the mud's original commands is not a mud I'm interested in, indeed those muds mentioned in the database such as materiamagica, aardwolf, clok and several others which will get pages  such as frandom, fluxworld, wayfare1444, empire  and avalon are games which have lower spam modes for Vi players or other settings that make them equally playable out of the box without extra programming, heck, some just have less quick combat rounds that mean they can be played at a reasonable pace . I'm sorry to hear harshlands doesn't have this. I might try the game at some point, but I would rather the developers were actually programming access into their game, though perh
 aps if I tried it I might have some suggestions that wouldn't require every player to effectively write their own interface. On the plus side, there are lots of really great muds that do! have incredibly good access, or can be played equally well without, whether Harshlands falls into the latter category I don't know, though from  Caio's comments I'm not sure.Btw, Alteraeon is one exception. Though it is a mud, a combination of help from the creator and a huge amount of work on the part of Oriol Gomez and others have created a custom client for the game called MushZ. nominally based on Mushclient but effectively a stand alone system for just runing alter. This has been designed to effectively turn Alteraeon into a full scale audio mmorpg with background music, sounds for in game events, and a huge! amount of custom functions and scripting. I'd recommend alter to anyone, as a detailed rpg with quests and combat and exploring, pvp and
  grouping if those are your thing, though bare in mind Alteraeon with MushZ is not really an exclusive experience of a mud since most muds don't have any sounds at all, much less so many sounds they're virtually an audiogame. I offer this warning since lots of newbies start on Alteraeon since it's a highly well run and newbie friendly mud, then get disappointed with other perfectly good muds which don't have sounds.

For mobile VR, the head tracking is taken care of by the phone's gyrosccope, so the headset is only there to give you some lenses.So if you don't care about the visuals, you can still get a sense of what VR is about - i.e. 3d positional audio combined with head tracking - just from a smartphone and a pair of headphones.The easiest way to see what the fuss is about is to watch a 360 + spatial audio video on youtube. Hi,I usually don't post on topics like this, but I've had some thoughts. I know rules have been broken in this instance, but I've seen many other topics where someone was supposedly banned unfairly. It occurs to me that if the Playroom doesn't have some sort of audit/logging system, it really should.IMO, a community such as the Playroom really needs to keep track of a number of every user's last events. Not game events, but just join/leave, messages to the tables or in private, etc.The server could keep track of a normal user's last 100 events, and since moderators have a lot more power, it could keep track of their last 300 events. Of course, if people knew this was happening, they could try to get around it, but then at least the mods and admins would know that something suspicious was probably going on.Also, make the moderators give a reason for every moderator type function, and log it in a log that is never cleared, so a 
 malicious moderator can't try to spam it out of the log.You could also make it possible to snoop a table's events without actually joining, or snoop someone's private communications, but again, make the moderator give a reason for their action, and log it in the administrative log.Just my thoughts.

I like this game! I haven't played any rhythm games before, so Rhythm Rage as well as Beat Star Pro is something new in audiogame world for me. So far, in RG I was able to get past first 5 levels in default pack, with all levels as ok and level 4 as super. I'll continue playing it.Since one of my hobies is electronic music production, I will probably create a pack once I'll be able to do it because currently I can't use additional packs yet.And, to answer previous post, Rhythm Rage has been developed in BGT, which makes it hard porting to other platforms., for example iOS and Android, because  Oriol would need to rewrite the entire game in perhaps Corona engine which is something totally different from BGT.

@NocturnusNice report, but with one little quibble, well done, thumbs up!I had always thought that Windows Defender was anti spyware protection that came with Windows and could be upgraded to Security Essentials which adds anti virus protection.I too am going to keep using MSE, though I'd love it if Avast were made accessible. I used it before I lost my vision and thought very highly of it.I also used Spybot for anti spyware and thought highly of it too. I've been meaning to try it but hesitate because I doubt that it is very accessible.I currently have Malwarebytes version 2.something, but if version 1.75 is the most accessible version, I'd love to get ahold of it. Does anyone know where I might be able to get a copy of the free version of it?

Hi, I think an antivirus like Windows defender will do the job quite well on a user's computer who pays attention to where he goes, what he visits, what he downloads, and what content does he work with. If you ar a basic user, and by a "basic user" I mean somebody who spends hours on youtube, chats with others on facebook, listens to his favourite music offline, downloads music from youtube, and works with excel/word/ pdf documents, he doesn't need to have a strong guard on his computer, cause these sites I described above are usually safe. As I have wrote on one of previous posts, a USB scanner is also a good alternative besides your daily antivirus If you need to work with your friend's USB, you can't be sure where that USB has traveled, and what has been stored in it.

I don't mean to repeat what's been said a million times, but rules are rules and if you don't like them, don't use the service. The rules are there to benefit everyone and to make it an equal ground for everyone. Advertising and spamming is not permitted, and if you host a table with the name of your radio show, you're basically promoting yourself, which is advertising. Publically. Religion aside, that was the very first rules in the rule book and it's been broken. Just because others do it doesn't mean it's right, and they might get their share of punishment sooner or later.

On the matter of religion online, the problem is "spreading faith" can mean a lot of things according to the tolerance and yes decency of the beleaver of any stripe, (very much including atheism or scientism). I have been a member of the council for christians and jews, as well as having studdied philosophy at a university full of contentious people for a long time, and it is actually possible for people who differ in opinion to discuss religion like rational adults, I'm pleased to say there are some topics like that here, just so long as people are prepared to discuss their opinions calmly, not accuse others of "being wrong!" or the like constantly, ie, listen to someone else's perspective and not just castigate them. That, and the ideal of freedom of speech is why religious discussion on this forum is not banned, though the proviso about being respectful to your fellow members and their beliefs is very much inforced.  elieve it's better not to have taboo subjects generally, this is a discussion forum after all and discussion, so long as it is to members benifit is more of an ideal. thus, my personal take is discussion of religion is okay, disrespect of others isn't. For example  in the offtopic room is a topic called "latin" which changed into a discussion comparing different varieties of christian services. On the other hand, a few months ago I recieved an email from someone reading the forums who took issue with my statement about catholics being christian and gave me a round load of what I can only describe as preaching to the effect that I was wrong to call catholics (and presumably anyone who didn't worship the way said person did), Christians, that I was myself being a bad christian (amusing since I never called myself specifically a christian), god would get cross with me for this terrible crime.Had that message been posted on the forum rather th
 an sent to me privately, heck had it been a pm, I would've had no compunction about banning that person since basically the long rant was not just a cryticism of me, but also of any catholic members (and a number of none christian ones too). Hope this all makes sence.

Well nocturnis that is at least refreshing.I really do not want to move away from msse, a lot of people on other lists said it was good but is now bad.I am online and sophos could be an alternitive.As for updates most major stuff does itself automatically.I do manually update some stuff.I am carefull where I go for the most part and have noscript on firefox.However I have always wandered for something a bit better.Yesterday I contemplated doodling with sophos for all systems.I have a small home network and a cloud based model means better management.I do realise I loose local functionality so will have to get another program.Its good to see that msse is once again up there and defender is there to.Fact is, what I like about the ms stuff is it manages itself itself, its doing it now.The only thing I have had to do is exclude a lot of large program backup folders of files on the backup drives because I had some 
 questionable files in there being flagged as bad, though I have made those go away now the folder always loaded slowly during opening.Sadly at least 2 false alarms have come up and I am again wandering if the app is worth it.With large broadband going on, it may make sence.On the privacy front privacy is dead.We submit ourselves to social networks, emails, skype, our picture no our entire lives are online.When we put our bank info it accesses something on the cloud our identities our government information.We have allready chucked the notion of privacy out the window.While you could hang on to hte ilution that you have it, there actually is not much more of a step to chuck it completely out the window.Even ms spys on its users.Even the government spy on us.With that said the only protection we need then is to stop the crimms coming back in to make our lives hell and that is it.The other thing is to make sure those tha
 t have our info do their jobs and not suck.Bar that I see no real advantage to protecting our information.Even if we never used a computer in our lives our info would be stored online and if that is the case privacy is dead.I don't mean be stupid about it, but the net mirrors the real world now, and we should treat both as such.I know text is not the right medium for a full descussion but thats the life we live in.There was a time before blogs when we could be isolated and not be noticed but even now someone is listening its the net and the net can be real life in some cases, this case for example.The only difference is it never sleeps and is still a little wild westy or can be dangerous but so can the city streets at night.THe real world has the same dangers.I actually think we should quit the notion of privacy as such because we chucked it out a long time ago.To be private now you would have to have no registrations with a
 nyone, the net, you couldn't have even a birth certifficate, heck the dead are registered somewhere.I don't think there is a way to remain private this day and age.We can fake it to some extent but still.Its why we must be carefull what we do both on and off the net.

Hello,I don't intend to take any side or further fuel up tentions here, but there are a couple of things which should be noted.the use of the word 'again' in the topic subject indicates that it is not the first time such a situation has taken place, and i searched for similar topics and both of them were about the same issue of being banned, although funnilly enough one from a year ago, and another exactly around a year before the first one. to stay neutral, I won't explain the purpose of those topics and why they were ultimately closed, but would point to this thread, and this one, for the members to read the above topics and judge themselves.well, I don't get the point of desperately trying to en
 ter a place where a person in question isn't allowed anymore. besides, if the bans were handed out twice in a period of 2 years, then how did the person received another ban after the previous two?  there might be  something I'm not aware of, or they could have been temporary ones.  either way, I suppose it  is not simply a matter of evading past bans through multiple accounts, otherwise no point remains as far as discussing the current ban is concerned.a lot of people complain about the developer of the playroom and strangely enough acknowledge there efforts at same time which is quite odd. I don't see playroom as a medium for casual online discussions or chats or what you will, but rather a balance between the two. for example, one would like to encorperate chatting along with the games to make them more fun and interactive as the players can engage into a conversation as they play along, perhaps to make the experience more realistic.
 ; now, as the playroom evolved slowly over the years from just a couple games to nearly some twenty-odd titles, the balance had shifted towards a really undesirable side. along with spamming and the adition of free tables, the option which allows people to stream whatever they want on any table of their choice seems to contribute more to this already increasing chaos. also, the playroom varriants in different languages need more effort on part  of the members assigned for moderation duties. I remember playing muds like alter aeon, although there are things to do in the game, but no one seemed to care if I logged on on one occasion and had a long discussion with others over any public channel or private. it doesn't mean that people are disallowed from talking unless it is about the game itself. assuming that there is no spamming and all the rules are being followed, it shouldn't be a problem at first place. if it is not easy to handle all the spammers and evader
 s, I'd like to propose an alternative to this problem, I hope ameniel and other developers of the playroom get a chance to read this at some point. what i propose is a temporary restriction on chatting ability. it has been seen that people get banned because of their behavior, and most of it arising out of their messages and so on. but apart from that, I'm not in favour of placing a complete ban which prevents them from playing the games as well. obviously the same people who are banned are not likely to mess up the server or the games for that matter. instead, when they are not allowed to say a word for a long long time, it gives them a chance to at least enjoy the games, the very reason the playroom was developped at first place. in alter aeon and a couple other online games, the administrators have the option to silence an annoying player which stops him to talk but doesn't take away his ability to play the game, even when they are labeled as known spammers and wha
 tnot else. similarly, the spammers and those who break the rules might lose chatting, as a consequence. for example on the English part of the playroom one can not write any message on the main screen. the same restriction on the spammers can  help in making the environment much stable. some people would like to argue about free speech and _expression_ but as mentioned by aprone and others, these online platforms are the property of their owners or developers and whatever content a user gets to enjoy is at the owner's discretion. yet, the alternative of temporarily or permanently blocking a player from sending messages but still being allowed to take part in the games seems more appropriate to me. suppose worse comes to worst, the free tables, streaming and chatting is removed, (which is highly unlikely but still), games are still an option. to some it may look like a big price to pay, but something better than nothing, as the saying goes. further thoughts are welcome.however, on the closing note, I'd like to link to this topic as it explains why the developer would not extend as much time and effort towards the playroom as he did a long ago. thanks for reading.

aprone, I still agree with you in most  things, but disagree in others and I say it quite respectfully and without  wanting to start a heating discussion, that is not my intention and I'm being sincere.I am not that kind of people whoo, lets say, use the doctrine as an excuse to spam others and so one. I am absolutely against it, just because my Lord  teaches  in his word to respect the laws and authorities, and I would not  do anything that I dislike, in this case spam. But again, even if someone threatens me to be killed  if I still spread my christian faith, I will still do it and nobody's gonna change my mind, if I have to die for Jesus I'll die for him.Now, not getting out of the main subject, I have definetly decided to step over and look forward, there might be better places weeree you might not get kicked out.
