Well.I have added you lord london to my skype contacts.As far as the questions and requirements, you rely on trust from your users and testers to tell you an age they could fudge it up unless they actually wanted to tell the truth like I just did on the contact request but not everyone is up front.I am unsure about the scripting, that may actually drive people away, I am not a programmer but I have fiddled about with batch files, I have also done some introductions to _javascript_ and web programming but I was never good as such but I can read a script and know what it is.I know enough to wreck your day and maybe mine but not much but am happy to learn.However for a new user, especially one for testing a new project that doesn't know what a script is its almost certainly a put off.Next I agree with the rest, like me your reputation is not that high, if like me you have a temper and try to be carefull fine but if you have had a melt down before as I have done you can get into all sorts of hurt and well you like me may have done that once to often and got kicked /banned from places as I have done in the past.However to the rest, I have worked with companies where putting out and sharing your information or the software doesn't get you banned, a lot more bad stuff happens to you.Putting out the secrets of things isn't the best.I actually narowly avoided any badness with sonnar, when both me and sonnar miscommunicated to eachother.But thankfully both of us fixed this and will watch eachother more closely.However bigger companies especially don't take a simple error in coms as any excuse.Basically you screw up, you may as well jump off a cliff after they are done with you.Business is hard at the best of times.Often with my job especially the government and other research, I get a short 2 liner about the job, its really brief.If I accept it in most cases they send me a briefing document of a couple paragraphs if they have one which is usually the media release as well as a sample of their paperwork to do on site if I am lucky.I also get a report that is released to general public at the end if I am lucky.When I get to the office, I get the general guff about the job and a form to sign which basically says you signed up for the job and you will get 1000 kinds of hell if you put that job outside the office at least while its in progress.Once its done and out  restrictions are relaxed a bit but still.Even when working, while I do ask questions, the only bit of the job I am given info on is the needed part which is enough to input data maybe the tools used and the way stuff is handled, but the rest of it, well even if I could understand it I am never told that.When I do government non research work its slightly relaxed, mainly because they give me admin rights to a temperary system for testing whatever, and thats that but still.The point is that these requirements are generous I usually don't even get requirements and I have been doing government web testing and psycology concept research for at least the last 6 years.I know enough that I can brag about what I do to my friends most of it from what I have asked but being a test pilot has an advantage.Different pay rates, etc, etc, etc.However I still do not know 99.9% of what the job is or in fact what is being done.And thats all it is.All I can tell you is that the input is the easy job.The system testing is a little harder but still easy, processing it all and the rest of it thats the hard part.

@ke7zum - My software wouldn't work on the xbox because I can't run the code on the xbox. The xbox accessibility people could make their own version of SoniFight (as it's free open-source software), or they could write their own version from scratch, but I'd be very surprised if they were willing to accept and digitally sign my version.You never know if you don't ask though, so perhaps somewhere down the line something of this kind may be a possibility. If any console dev / accessibility types would like to chime in I'd be delighted to discuss further.

Currently my deck has like 40 cards roughly, is there a way I can fill them up with more fire type cards? I can see if I winn the flying gym over a few times that'll populate my secondary element flying, but when do we get to the fire gym. lol

Moderation! Hello everyone. this is just to let people know, the introductions topic that previously resided in the general game discussion room has been moved to the introductions forum. This has been done to stop new members getting confused about where to post to get their accounts unrestricted. The old introductions topic, with it's 12 years of agnet history, including first posts by many forum members has certainly not been deleted, and now can be found here though  is now closed, again in order to stop any potential confusion of new members. I know this is a change to something which has actually been on the forum longer than I have, but hopefully people will understand the reasons why it's needed to be done, and the new introductions topic will now be  carrying on the tradition as a place to welcome newcomers to the forum and learn a bit about them, as well as a way of filtering out the spammage. thanks for reading. @lord Lundin good luck with this. Crime is not a preferred setting of mine so I will not be applying as an alpha tester, but when it goes into a public beta I'll be happy to try it out anyway. As someone who has however been on various private alpha and beta testing teams from blind adrenaline cardroom to smugglers and Entombed, you might consider a couple of points. Firstly while  your requirements for testers are not in and of themselves unusual, you might think about rephrasing your request so as to be a little less antagonistic to potential testers. After all, while it is true that it is your project and the requirements are yours, at the same time, you want a good communicating relationship with your testers so that they will give you useful feedback. So threatening to black list people or telling people they are not fit to test or play an offensive game is probably not the way to get people on side.This isn't to say your requirements themselves are unreasonable, after all if this is intended as an overtly adult game people should know what they're getting, and likewise requesting that testers undertake a none disclosure agreement about the project is reasonable enough, but again both of these  could be phrased as requests not demands, so as to start matters on the right foot. Even with the age requirement, there is a difference in saying "this is an adult game with 18 rated content so testers should be over eighteen" and "zero tolerance no exceptions" this is I  suspect why there has been a little hostility towards the project thus far, despite the fact that what your doing sounds like a good thing in principle. Hope this makes sense and good luck finding your testers. When you have something publically playable I'll be glad to give it a go as I said.

@Mike, shame you had to reset. For deck management, You can go to options and generate a text file with the text of the cards in it, and then copy the ones you want into a txt file in your decks folder if you like. I personally prefer the in game deck management interface since I find the layout of the cards easier than all that copying and pasting, especially when you've got hundreds of cards in many different types to look through but it's up to you.

Hi Phil. When I said my IPhone has no battery, what I actually mean is that it has a battery, but the battery basically lasts about ten minutes flat, so right now my so called mobile phone only works if it is plugged into the wall . This also means getting a spare power pack to recharge the battery on the go would be something of a waste of time.I could get a new battery but that would cost eighty pounds and! require a full reset of the phone, which is rather loopy, especially considering that now basically the worth of my IPhone five is apparently about fourty quid anyway.I will probably look at upgrading somewhere in the Christmas sales, though whether to a seven or eight I am not sure, albeit I'm tempted to get the eight just for system longevity if nothing else, it is not really an expense I want at the second, but it is what it is, and given my IPhone 5 has had some pretty intensive use over the past five years I can't complain too much, though it does make it rather difficult to try out IPhone e games when I'm constantly tied to a power point.

I was only a few worlds into the adventures, so it isn't a big deal.So question, for the new types I get, like if I want to put the normal or fighting types, how would I pair them in one deck. just choose manage decks and modify deck 2 for example and select the normal and fighting cards for deck 2? Or is there a way to do this in a notepad type environment.Thanks again

A man fell from on high, the dead dragon beneath him offering little solace to the mighty battlemage in his current predicament.As he fell, Edarvur cursed his bad luck. He'd come into the land of the dead for a brief foray... that had quickly turned into a fiasco of unbelievable proportions. He was cursing himself, magic, and his steel, all for his stupid mistake.He damned himself to these hells for ever killing that dragon so close to the ceiling. And now he was going to turn into a tavern cake if he didn't cast a spell to save himself and quickly.He formed the words in his head as he fell. His arcane chants filled the air. The power flowed. The energy flaredand fizzled out. "Damn," the man cursed as he fell. He should have remembered, magic was not as well suited to this damnable abyss as it was the world above. Anti-magics constantly corrupted him.The man sighed inwardly as he braced himself for the impact and hoped the dragons great bulk was enough to take the force of the collision.When they hit, Edarvur was thrown far and high. No, no, no! he screamed in his mind as he fell. He tried one last desperate attempt to cast a spell, and surprisingly it worked, stopping him three or so feet from the ground before fizzling out and dropping him, flat on his back, to the ground.Groaning, the battlemage rolled over and rose to his feet, taking stock of his situation.His spellbooks were in order, thank the gods, wherever they were. His blades, forged in to the shapes of dragons wings, still rested at his hips. His robes, though tattered, still remained. And no bones were broken."I am lucky indeed," he murmured, a habit he'd picked up on his solo adventuring quests. He was alone, but craved companionship. So he spoke to himself. He stood on the huge plain of desolation and decay that was the land of the dead... or at least, one of them.High above him, high above here, lay the Fields of Paradise, where the souls of the just and the goodly resided after their corporeal forms died.But here. Here were the Plains of Despair, where the souls of the wicked, the unholy and dishonorable, the shunned and the wickedly ambitious, were damned to forever unlive in a state of torture unknown to any living being.And here he was, Edarvur, mightiest of battlemages, trapped in the depths of this abominable place. He sighed as he looked at the thoroughly broken form of the guardian dragon. "A noble fight," he said, drawing one of his swords, Dragonwing, his right hand blade. He saluted the proud creature, then sheathed it, placing his hand upon the dragon's egg-shaped pommel.The other weapon, Dragonsbane, (A name he found endlessly cliche, but it was a wonderful weapon), he drew and saluted the creature as a worthy opponent.Both blades were identical, in all save the hilt. While Dragonwing was a red hilted blade with the egg being it's pommel, Dragonsbane was a deep, cleansing blue, the pommel of which was the great and mighty head of a blue, therefore goodly, dragon.He took the time to check  the rest of his reserves, both physical and magical. He would have to find a high place on this flat land upon which to cast his spell of returning. And that would not be an easy task.He would have to fight his way through legions of the damned to find said hill, and--"You are a dolt," came a voice from behind him. So I'm just wondering why more of us are not using gopher sites.Gopher is a menu based system for transferring files. A normal gopher site resides on port 70. Jaws2018 is out and possible upcoming firefox problem with jaws

I am just letting those who do not know already that JAWS 2018 is out and that FS is saying that they are going to have a problem with a November 14 release of Firefox. I can follow their suggestion of switching to the Extended Support Release version of Firefox or I could basically curse Firefox and FS out, but that option will be no good. Of course, FS is really pushing for people to get their adaptive tech up to date. This of course means that they really want everyone to go to the latest version of JAWS, or at least everyone that uses JAWS. I am on version 15 of JAWS now, and if the pricing is right, it would cost me around $550 to make that upgrade without two extra SMAs, or $750 to get the upgrade with the two SMAs. I am guessing that I will, sooner or later, be forced over to NVDA do to the pricing and or the like. I still do not like the license change from V15 to V16 myself, but I do not like the price of upgrading either. Anyway, people can go here to see what it would cost them to upgrade.

Update:After messing around a little bit and doing some reading, I now understand much more about the combo system, and the combo assist feature. Still got tons to learn though I'm sure. I'd like to know which enders it's using sometimes, so if I wanted to turn the assist feature off for whatever reason I'd know what to practice with, but that'll come in time maybe lol.Just picked up this game because of the many interesting characters, and I have a few questions that have probably already been answered somewhere around here but oh well heh. So when it comes to doing combos, I'm noticing that if I just spam a directional button with an attack I seem to be ay ok, but I did some reading and found some complex looking combos with special moves and such. My question is why bother learning them if you can just press one button again and again and get crazy combos? What I mean is, when you do spam, are the combos being performed incorporating specials already? Or is it just a big string of normals. I'm using jago to train with right now, and I've been able to do some combos by just button mashing, but also some incorporating specials, and I'm just not really noticing a difference. I am brand new to this series though. My favorite part about the game so far is the music, it's absolutely beautiful at times and epic when it needs to be.

I'm beginning to realize that what actually matters are the people that you know. All the material possessions in the world won't mean jack to you if you're going to be lonely in your pursuits. I would, in fact, scale down many conveniences that I take advantage of as a born and bred American citizen, if only to be closer to those I care about who are far away. I don't expect anyone else to really understand this viewpoint, but there you have it anyway, as food for thought.

Yes, that could help, but you're also going to have to go in and tell your antivirus of choice that NVDA is safe to prevent this from happening again. In other words, you'll have to add its directories to your list of exclusions. Depending on which antivirus you're using, that could be a pretty painful process.

SvR 2006 ftwadmittedly for managing the career in 2k18 I really, REALLY hate the bullrap scripted stuff, There's one point in the early areer where you get put into a seriesand.it's a best of five. Make that a best of two matches because you don't even get to play the start of the series, it's the same cutscene and exact commentary repeated twice to put you down 0-2, then you get put into a backstage brawl then you get to go and finally play the series out for the last three matches which you happen to win, by shenanigans, I won' spoil what but it's just screaming oh drama, DRAMA!No. From an actual gameplay point, ya know, lemme play the matches, let the other  guy win by some cutscene 5 or so minutes into the match instead of go to match card, speak to producer, , loading screen, cutscene of loss, loading screen, go to car, loading screen, go to match ard, speak to producer, loading screen, interview,, loading screen, lose match instantly, loading screen, interview, brawl, loading screen.I mean, the career overall, the idea is good, but.that sort of thin just drags it out. I just don't like being told oh you're in a best of 5 series, instantly lose two without even gettin a chance to go out into the ring and put on a show.that's just cheap and lazy I feel

You could even be part of the party and watch it, even the fireworks and such.And locations wich even the cartographers guild doesn't know and for wich no maps exist would be fantastic, since that keeps exploring still interesting even if you could unlock so much with the maps.

I feel there must be better qualified people than me responding to this, but did you also delete the NVDA folder? I usually find if I don't delete the folder after uninstalling NVDA, when I reinstall it just reverts to whatever issue I had before and doesn't really do a fresh install at all.The folder I'm referring to on my win 7 PC is in: C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming

For Android games that don't use native controls, turning off, or more likely suspending Talkback as that can be done faster, is quite common. You can thank Google for this. On iOS, there is an API to mark a view as requiring direct touch interaction, which makes VoiceOver (iOS's screen reader) basically get out of the way and pass through any gestures performed on that view. There is no such feature on Android, so people are quite used to having to turn off talkback in games that use their own interface.For voice recognition, I guess it would depend on what game you're creating. For story driven things that require you to make choices, speech can be more realistic. But in most cases, traditional interfaces are faster.

Care to share some tips for developer?

Hi all. I am a game developer that recently started to explore world of accessibility games. I am not calling them audiogames, because from my understanding this genre is reserved for application with sound design as the dominating way to communicate with the player. Anyway I was wondering about few things. I will ask mostly about mobile games, Android especially - I do this for my personal project that has nothing to do with my company I work for. I also don't own any iOS or Windows Phone devices for now.Cut to the chase. I checked few titles and it seems that some games don't even work when Talkback is enabled. Is it ok to ask user to turn Talkback off? Is it common solution? I was also wondering if using speech to text user interfaces would be a good idea. Do voice commands sound as a good way to interact with a game? I mostly think about it in game's menu or giving player overall view of his current state in the game. I am not thinking about commands like in game called "There Came An Echo".I am excited to hear your suggestions and thoughts. Any help would be appreciate .Cheers!

Dark,You wrote that your IPhone still has no battery.My wife just got a backup battery case for her iPhone 7.Maybe such a battery case would fix your iPhone's dead battery problem.Battery cases for older iPhones should be sold at  a reduced price.

@Lord Lundin, hope your rehearsing goes well. For me it's time to check in again since I've a few things to share. Firstly I'm pleased that we've had some site updates out and that I've been able to try out new games, it's always good to be on  edge of what is going on, and hopefully site updates will be a bit more regular now that house related things are sorted, albeit my IPhone still has no battery which makes playing Ios games a bit difficult. I'd like to check out the Alteraeon Halloween stuff if I can, though whether I'll have time we'll see.In other newsI have continued the doctor who fest with lots of fourth doctor stories and all of the time war stuff. I'm still not sure the time war is a story that really should be told, but it is interesting to see someone who isn't the doctor being a bastard in the doctor's universe, even if I still think retconning the hole war was quite ridiculous. As with Riversong Bf seem to have restored faith in the war doctor even if the plot that introduced him was appalling. I also liked the fact that the last two fourth doctor stories actually bought us a really alien alien world, an entire planet made of gelly like substance where people could walk as long as they didn't stay still and where the local civilization had wave walkers, who walked across the slowly moving jelly sea with balloons to keep them up. Nice to see a really distinct planet, and one that even had a good  in a foil for Romana, though a shame she had to turn out to be a bit too vil I also finished One salt sea by Seanon McGuire with my lady and sent off a review. A trifle disappointing, especially what happened to October, though I'll not say what I thought here given that hopefully the review will be up on fantasybookreview.co.uk soon and people can read for themselves. getting away from books and audios and so on, to celebrate my lady's birthday we went to Turtle bay last Monday. This is an awesome west indian restaurant with a lot of unusual stuff. Wehad some amazingly nice cocktails, and some extremely good, if very spicy stew made of beef cheeks, some chicken wings with a great jerk sauce, plus some of their great rum cake. it's always nice to try stuff from a different culinary traditional, albeit I don't know how authentic the food at Turtle bay is, still it's spiced very differently and certainly not what we usually have and thus a nice change. This weekend we have a firework display in honour of guy forks failed attempt to blow up parliament, sort of amusing given the amount of hot air parliament is generating over brexit they'd probably set off the gun powder themselves if someone tried it now .Hope everyone else is having a good October.

I don't use TapTapSee any more because the descriptions you get are dependant on the person describing it for you , and ever since they went free instead of paid, the quality of the service has suffered greatly.I have a Sleep Number bed and when I take a picture of the remote to check if I need to adjust the air pressure in the bed, only rarely did I get a description of what the remote's display shows, usually I just get something like "Person holding an electronic device", I knew that already you idiot, what does the device display?I also have a monthly pill minder, sometimes I need to know what day number the pill container is for, but all I usually get from TapTapSee is, "Person holding a block", again, I already knew that much, dumb, dumb, now what's the number printed in huge numbers on the end pointed right at the camera.TapTapSee used to be great, but ever since the service went free, it has become mostly useless.They probably should have stayed a paid service so they could afford to pay people that do more than state the obvious.I uninstalled it months ago and don't miss it.

Hi Aprone, thanks for a warm welcome. I indeed use Unity 3D, maybe other developers will find it interesting that input works in latest (2017.2.0f3) version of the engine. But it is still far from being intuitive and user friendly in my opinion.On one hand talkback helps in regular phone usage and I have mixed feelings to ask user to turn it off, on the other hand I want to have full control over input. Maybe I did something wrong, but to do simple swipe I had to tap the screen to gain focus, then double tap to start gesture where second tap was starting swipe. And I had to do it in right timing. Dear mobile gamers, is it common to play accessibility games like this?About second part, I was wondering why Speech To Text is not in common use for user interfaces. I can only think of language support but maybe I am missing something.

MODERATION!Because this topic has descended into complete and utter childishness I neither have the time for and do not expect any of the other mods to deal with, it is being closed.  I must also put my foot down at long last and ban Dgleks;  this will be done as soon as this message is finalized.  His attitude has not changed though he has been warned about it on countless occasions spanning different topics.  I predict one of two things will happen as a result of this; he will claim he hates this site with a passion and come up with any number of useless names and insults for it which he will then spread over various games and platforms, or he will demand that this be looked into closely and claim he was unfairly banned.  I have enough fuel to keep him off the forum for a fairly lengthy amount of time, which means that if he really is making money, he'll certainly have a lot of time to devote to it; he should honestly be thanking me for doing him a favor.As for the rest of you who are heavily involved in this drama, if you're making a game, I'd suggest you actually get to it and stop with the back and forth bullying, ranting, raving, rangling, and whatever else fits the ticket that has spawned so much controversy where redstop, TK and other games associated with it are concerned.  Until such a thing happens, none of these games will be getting entries in the database and you can take me at my word on that, the reasons being many, but most importantly because thanks to the instability shown out here we cannot depend on them being games we can safely recommend.  the long and short of it is that you all better grow up.

Hi all,So something really weird is happening now When I use the m.facebook.com site (I prefer it for it's simpler interface), I, for some reason, can't search for anything. This was working fine yesterday, but today, if I search for anything, it literally just redirects me to the home page, even when searching from another page. Gypsy, welcome to the forum!  I'm excited to hear that we've gained another potential developer, since that is always a good thing.  I don't have any current experience with mobile games, and the experience I do have was not with accessible ones, so I don't think I'd be much help with that.  I believe mobile games written in Unity suffer with the problem you mentioned above, where Talkback needs to be disabled in order to get input to work properly.  I could be wrong, but I do remember reading about that when I was doing some Unity stuff several months back.Sooner or later someone will chime in who has more experience in this area.  Mobile developers may know the answer, but mobile gamers will definitely know if they're ever asked to disable certain phone features to get games to work.Once again, welcome!

Nooo, not McCaffee! Still it can't be worse than Avg is these days, my lady can't even play Alteraeon on her machine without being blocked and the screens are utterly inaccessible, including the uninstall screen so we can't get rid of the bloody thing .glad you got it sorted.

Well, I did figure it out. This machine came with McAfee antivirus and that's what was making trouble, so much so that it had blocked my internet access. Got everything squared away now though thank goodness.

That's kinda weird if we're talking standard English, but there is an English writing system with loads of single-letter words. Not that this is helping me much, heh.

Hmmm, this is odd, I've got windows 10 here and both paladin of the skies and manamon installed fine, I'm also running windows defender, then again I did turn the security down a bit so now it just warns me rather than acting without letting me know. I still wish  trading was bit more doable without need all that port forwarding shenanigans so I could complete my manapedia, then again I can't recall where I was in the game na dprobably need to give things another go.

I haven't played in a while, but it seems like they're good at what they do, which is run and code a game which is rp-enforced. I personally like more lax rules about RP, but it's not for everyone, and you can still potentially play without getting involved in too much role play, but getting a profile accepted can suck, I haven't yet and I've submitted about 5. Closest I got was when an admin told me it was good accept for a few things which I should change. I changed them, then got rejected for entirely different reasons the previous admin hadn't said haha.

Hi Bryan,I had exactly the same Problem with manamon. The file that was missing was rpg.exe. I finally found out that my antivir recognized it as malware and deleted it automatically.My advice is to check your security Settings and probably your malware Folders. At least manamon has some issues with the online trading Thing being detected as a possible security issue or something like that. That is what I heard.Good luck!
