Hi, Let me begin this post with huge thanks to Vincent for his donation to the vault. Thank you man, couldn't keep this up without you guys that donate generously every month. You guys make some good points, but perhaps if we can manage the descriptions by imdb or something, we may try for it, in a way that doesn't make website a pain to use, of course. But yes, content is going to be our focus or first priority, at least for now. In terms of updates, we have been adding many tv shows and movies lately, such as Sex education season 1, the order, spider-man, aquaman, fantastic beasts and the crimes of grindalwald to mention a few. Need to go and look into a better server now, and see what all goes into server migration. Grryf

Re: The beginning of the end for jaws?

People are missing a key thing here. If you're running Windows 10 home, you're not accessing your home PC from somewhere else using RDP, no matter how much you want to and if Narrator allows it. RDP is not available on Win 10 home. If you want remote access, it's Teamviewer, LogMeIn, something similar to those two, or nothing. If no screenreader will work nicely with something like Teamviewer, than you don't get to access your machine remotely. Running Windows 10 pro? Running Windows server? Congratulations. You still have RDP access--you may just have to enable it. On home, the RDP server doesn't exist. RDP client, however, still does. That's why I'm curious to test out if Teamviewer actually works with either JAWS or NVDA.To answer your question, yes you need to have JAWS installed on both to use even RDP. However, if you're remoting into your own computer, presumedly you're already running JAWS, so that should be a non-issue.

Re: Swamp, zombie FPS by Aprone

Hi Aprone, got a couple suggestions. Would it be possible to implement some sort of system to prevent people from disconnecting in the middle of a fort attack? I know this is already not allowed by the user agreement, but would be nice to have something in place to discourage it so you wouldn't be flooded with reports of people suspecting others of doing this on top of all the pestering you get from us already. haha Something like what's in place on Survive the Wild, if I'm remembering correctly, would be nice, where a character stays on the map for a brief period after the account logs off to prevent players from avoiding losses by disconnecting mid-fight.On a simpler note, would it be possible to add in an alert sound for events in Capture the Flag matches? As it is now with only the text message, it's very easy to miss when the flag is dropped or returned if you're in the middle of fighting.

Speaking of which, does anyone else have weird textures that they just can't deal with? Broccoli does it for me as well.Today I didn't have anything special, just some pre-processed frozen chicken strips I threw in the air fryer. I can't cook nothing at the moment, because we just got ourselves one of them new modern ovens that got a touchscreen, and it's pretty inaccessible. Luckily, those things usually have some kind of app you can use to control them, so I should probably look that up at some point.

Re: help in bgt?

Ok, so, you could use ectors, or as lucas said, int x, y, z;Maybe something along the lines of this. This code wouldn't work correctly but screw off.int x, y, z; //the players coordinates.
int jumping; //we'll just have this here in case you wanta make jumping;
//declare some sounds
sound step; sound jump; sound ambience;
void main() //hope I don't gotta explain this.
{
//load the sounds.
step.load("step.ogg");
jump.load("jump.ogg");
//etc.
ambience.play_looped();
while(key_pressed(KEY_ESCAPE)=false) //Declare that the following will occur if the key escape is pressed.
{
if(key_pressed(KEY_UP))
{
move(forward); //call the move void, with the directcion of forward.
}
//do that for all the arrows.
}
if(key_pressed(KEY_ESCAPE))
{
exit();
}
}
void move(string direction) //call a move function, that will take the direction that you move.
{
step.play();
if(direction=forward)
{
y++;
}
//etc.
}Now that was thrown together in 5 minutes, and I don't even think that would work, considering I have a vary limited grasp on loops, for some reason they won't work for me, and that I'm not sure if I did the void with an enclosed var correctly. Please correct me if I did that rong, cause I'd love to learn myself.

When you reach 1800, about the only way I found to bring in a good amount of credits is star rescuing and that is pretty grinddy. get the mission, launch, begin, punch what you are told, land, and repete. Of course, at that rank, there are moons, and they can pretty much run themselves if you set them up right. I do not really need to add that there is not really much at that rank to do. So, I guess that it would be a really good time to RP. Anyway, things I will like to see, wellit has pretty much been said in the topic.  things like, well written areas, more exploreing, well thought crafting, and ETC. In sort, 2 through 14 pretty much explains, in others words, what my thoughts are. Needs to fill like I am in a story of some kind.

Re: shadow rine full voice version released

I saw mention of a speed bubble or something like that. Now apparently I'm dumb and somehow can't use the search feature to actually pull up relevant results, so rather than continuing to guess what words I need to type in order to see more than 0 hits, or read through this thread from first to last, I'm gonna pull the lazy card and ask where it is, what it does, and how you get it. Best I can tell, typing shadow rine and virtually anything else guarantees I won't get any hits. Makes looking for particular things rather difficult.Edit:I think I found it. I guess it's just being called different things. Quick melon, fast bubble, speed marine I guess are all one and the same. What about the mental club? Is that another name for something I already have or something completely different that I haven't seen yet? One of the people I talked to said something about a place where things are 10 levels more and it would be a good area to practice in. Is that something that becomes available in a higher difficulty? I found something at 21-28 in the wilderness with a bunch of stuff over a pit and a chest with some caron in it, but it looks like a one time thing. As for going back in and picking up things left in boss rooms, I haven't seen anything besides the speed boost item in the wind forest. The dragon shrine outright says there's nothing here. There was nothing in the ruins and there was nothing in the door with the sign by it saying not to approach. Is this also something that becomes more relevant on higher difficulty? Is there a place to grind out some xp and caron? The things I'm fighting don't seem to give much of either. Or is that as good a sign as any that I need to finish the game with this save now that I've gotten a couple more things and see what kind of bp I get. Looking at the bonus shop it looks like there's at least one thing I absolutely must do, some things that I probably should do, and a few things that I could do if I had any bp left to blow. I'd like to get sword level, status items, money, bubble, dash, the special ability scrolls, and all the partners joining. Is it possible to get enough bp to do that on a first pass?

Re: Terrible, Awful, No-good, Very Bad...spelling?

I don't like dictation either, not only because it feels unnatural, but it's also a weird privacy thing with me. I can get dictation to work pretty well on my IPhone when I do use it, but I just don't like the idea of speaking my messages when everyone else often types them, or at least they don't tell me they use dictation so I assume they type.Also am not a big fan of autocorrect. I'd like to get into some of the predictive stuff that gives you suggestions but doesn't forcibly overwrite your words. That sounds cool in a way but it's still distracting and I would have to break my current habits to take advantage of it. What I really don't understand are the people who use the autocorrect that attempts to complete your message, and then complain when it gives them wrong words, but they continue to use it anyway. My mom was doing that for a while. Almost once a week it seemed, she'd have to explain what she meant because autocorrect messed it up. I've never used it so I don't know how easy it is to let those errors slip through, but I, like a few others, always check before I send so the idea of autocorrect is very foreign to me. I don't go so far as to say it's useless, but I swear people depend on it and that is why they put up with it when it's being temperamental.

As a low vision player, I would love to see a super high contrast mode . Something I could switch on and off. That would highlight my car, the other cars and the road   With everything else/background being black/very dark. In game text to speech. A must if it’s more of a simulator,  with various parts of the car being upgradable/tweaked. A combination between sounds, haptic feedback and announcements for turns   With options for each .   Optional time rewind   Like in Forza. Practice mode for learning how best to take turns . I guess it depends on the type of racing game it is. Things would be a little different if it’s arcade, simulation, track or open world.

Re: Dragon Village is here

HI,at first I did leave them alone a bit. Focused on getting my resources up before dragon came. In this instance I got a red dragon and took care of that as quickly as possible. then focused on wolves. used bane from merchant did help. seemed to me though I also had max on area with outlaws as well as the wolves. i do have all equipment I can get from merchant for guards and lookouts and villlagers on the outlaw areas. but they seem to only attack about twice per 10 days. so I kill a couple when they attack. my villagers go out and try to find some and maybe kill on average 3 per day. some days they don't even find any. i do utilize the thugs from greeedy city every chance i can send them out. They usually bring back between 9 and 11 heads. and I do keep a max of 10 villagers on the land with outlaws. One gets killed or lost I replace right away. In fact most days are jus the same. make sure I have 10 villagers out there. Party sent to greedy city. And yet I get far more arriving than I have killed.Don't mean it to sound like I am complaining. Just saying what I am seeing. Will keep on plugging away. if others have beat it then it is possible. I just need to find out what that strategy is. Persistance will pay off I say. LOL.Shermanator

Re: Sonus PCP - PC Player

I notice that the GDE creates a folder named after your project, and then creates inside that folder a file by the same name. I also notice that when you build a PCP game, it doesn't create a folder named after the project. The problem here is that creating the GDE project has so far only required one file, so does it need to create a subfolder for the project file? Conversely, building the PCP game should create a subfolder with the project name, since multiple files will be put into that same folder, and this way you can have one designated folder where you can put all  your PCP builds. Without subfolder creation, you have to create the subfoler yourself (before you can build the project), or else you risk having tons of overwrites as the GDE exports and writes over old file names.Kai

Just keep beating the game. Try for higher difficulty, different endings, you will get more points, especially if it's on a harder mode. And I ask again, how would you want to create a sound which gives you exact length and steapness of a curve?I don't know if you have any ideas on what is going on sound whise in a modern racer, most of you played topspeed and never a real racing game.You have your car engine, the track ambiance, the other drivers, often pritty loud, and little sounds like your breaks, clutsh, spin outs and the like.Let's think ahead, if we have an indicator on where an oponent is, that is another thing to watch out. Add in a sound system for curves which can exactly show the propertys of a curve, well, for the average player this might be a bit to much. A simple announcement like, right 45 would be enough, I suppose noone even heard of Nascar spotters around here.And before you ask, when I last checked I logged about 67 hours in forza motorsport 7 trying out different tuning setups and getting an idea on track layouts and lap times, so, I know what I am talking about.Greetings Moritz.

Re: Terrible, Awful, No-good, Very Bad...spelling?

I know many who do that too, 43. They'll either capitalize the first letter of a sentence, but not capitalize 'i' as in ("Yeah, I like that") and instead will send it as Yeah, i like that". Or they'll put punctuation in the wrong place, or not put any in at all. It really urks me, especially when I'm talking to people who are my friends in college, or who I've known in high school, and who seemed very well academically, from what I could tell during those days. Just saddens me how people are quite happy (or unhappy) to go through school (english class, math class, ...) and then throw all of that away -- or try to -- and write like uneducated people instead. What's even worse is that the lowercase 'i' is not a spelling error in Brave at least. It might be in other browsers, but its not in Brave, so you don't know if you've fucked up even if your one of the best spellers in the world (since we all make little typos like that).

Just to piggyback on one of Cartertemm's analysis a bit:MasterOfDeath wrote:"Don't you think it's a bit childish that you think one single guy, just one, can enforce the whole community to use a particular version of skype or anything?"This reminds me of how his posts really lack substance or organization, and it was easy to confuse who he was addressing. He was actually talking about Simter's purpose for the thread, not Jaydes' desire to close it. He was basically implying Jayde should take it with a grain of salt, never mind the fact that trying to guilt the community into using a particular version of Skype is not possible, it was rather the way he expressed himself, and because! of his trying to guilt the community, rather than would it work or not. That's what he was trying to imply. Just another hardy serving of the anarchist mindset with a side baseless arguments blown way out of proportion to back it up.That being said, my purpose wasn't even to specifically correct Cartertemm's analysis, but more or less to demonstrate further how MasterOfDeath's posts are so off base altogether.

Re: The beginning of the end for jaws?

2019-03-31 Thread AudioGames . net Forum — Off-topic room : ironcross32 via Audiogames-reflector

Re: The beginning of the end for jaws?

I don't see Jaws dropping out completely, but I do see their need to change their pricing structure. Let's say though, that they do. NVDA is not, and I repeat not ready to take up the slack. I'm not even considering users' objections to NVDA when saying this, I basically mean that NVDA does not have the feature set Jaws people will expect. Then you have the fact that the thing runs like a dream on some machines, and on others, is moderately bad to terrible. But apparently Jaws is getting this way too. Damn it, NVDA needs, to, be, pure, 64, bit. But anyone who says that gets shouted down. OK. Let's see how long you can live that way. We've already lost access to Java through means of the JAB. Anyway, It's hard to get corporations to accept it, but we've already had that discussion, just pointing it out because Jaws is so dominant in professional circles. Then you have the way NVDA devs just leave issues open and uncommented. Also, it's my opinion that NVDA needs a bug tracker that is easy to use. Github is not for the ordinary schmuck, I'm sorry, but it's just not. I don't have a problem with it, even though I'm not a dev, but plenty of others don't understand the thing. It's not a matter of just create an account and get going with it. I get why it's there, and I wouldn't ever intend on saying stop using it entirely, since that's what other devs should be using. But, just your average users should have something where they can submit bugs through an easy to use form. Now, if this is possible, that form could certainly be the front end to an API that converts it into a github issue where the template is filled in. I.e. on the form, put separate boxes for each field in the template, then have the form submitted to an intermediary script that converts it to a github issue. I don't know if that  is even possible, if there is a github API that lets you do that or whatever, just a thought.The conclusion I'm heading towards is that I'm rather impressed by how much I'm becoming unimpressed by NVDA of late. It's been my primary for 10 years now, hell, my only for 10 years now, so it makes that sad to have to say. When Jamie left for Mozilla, that just through a monkey wrench into the project. I thought it might knock everyone off their stride, but the project still hasn't recovered imo. So, if NVDA remains in this state, and Jaws just drops out of the market, and Narrator's half ready at best, that ain't good. That's me spinning stuff out though and I don't consider the likelihood of that happening to be very high.

Sniper can use Acid Storm, and the Fairie can use pretty much any type of magic, though it won't have access to all spells. About the Security Guard and Blankblank, they shouldn't be in your select party members menu. If they are, the game will mess up, so don't use them. Aria, Sniper and the fairie should be able to get through the rest of the game, just take note of the music for the final boss! What I mean is that their's a major bug ware the song plays, but the Bioplace music also plays at the same time, and the music for the final boss is loud. If you can't here the game when that happens, mute it or hold down f6 until it's on it's lowest volume, or simpley wait the music out. It will only play once.

Re: Terrible, Awful, No-good, Very Bad...spelling?

Oh, I hate that lack of punctuation too, especially when using a screen reader. I can't seem to process what the person is saying as well, and often find that I need to either slow down my speech, scroll through the mess of a sentence/post/what have you word by word, or both. I've always associated lack of punctuation with laziness to a point, and it sucks that I have to work twice as hard to make the effort to understand what the person is saying as they put into trying to get their point across.As for writing in complete sentences, I do the same thing, and I hate it if I forget to capitalize something. The only time I get sloppy with this is in fast-paced games. I admit that I often don't put punctuation at the end of my messages then, and it does bother me. I also find myself making more spelling mistakes, simply because I'm typing fast so as not to hold up the game, or if I'm in the middle of a game and need to be quick with whatever message I'm sending. What usually happens is that two letters get swapped around or something, and I'll correct it as soon as I can in a separate message. I've often wondered if people notice that as well, but I try to console myself with the fact that we're all playing and presumably having fun, so I hope no one is actually paying that much attention. But, on Skype, or any other text-based medium where I'm talking to someone, I'm very conscious of how I present myself, and I've always had this weird idea that writing in complete sentences, and using proper punctuation to the best of my ability, shows that I'm invested in the conversation, and that I care about the person I'm speaking to. To me, it's akin to eye contact, which of course is the bane of every blind person's existance, or active listening, where you show that you're engaged in the conversation and that the other person has your full attention. I feel that if I'm making a bunch of careless mistakes, I come off as distracted, or worse, that I don't want to hear what you're saying. I get that I'm definitely in the minority with those views, but it's how I've done things for a very long time. When I was a teenager, I went through a phase where I thought it was cool to not use punctuation, particularly on AIM back when it was the king of instant messaging systems. I would deliberately not use any capital letters, and would strategically sneak in a spelling mistake or two, I couldn't quite bring myself to stoop to the level of spelling tons of things wrong. I thought everyone else was doing it because it was the in thing to do or something, but, in reality, I think most people just weren't that great of spellers anyway. Luckily, I quickly grew out of that. It was quite a stupid thing to do, looking back on it.

I think it’s worth noting that a lot of the judging here is going on based on what people write on a forum about gaming/how people write in chat rooms. I, for example, am a lot more willing to comb through my writing if it’s being judged academically or professionally than if it’s just something I’m writing to a friend. Sure, I might write engin vs engine in a chat room, but I’d never make that same mistake in a context where that mattered. The real problem is when you honestly can’t tell that you’re spelling something wrong, like writing baddle vs battle and not realizing that the first of those is absolutely wrong and no sighted person would ever know what you were talking about. As long as you’re aware when you misspell a word, you’re probably fine.

I am going to be honest here, speaking as half user and half admin, so no decision here is final, it's just food for thought for the moment.I have not said very much in this topic simply because I do not feel there has been much to say on the matter.I can see both sides of the coin. Why Jayde did this, was to prevent drama from happening. Then the other side is the fact that if he'd left the topic open, things could have, indeed possibly been sorted out by the same token.I am wondering therefore if something like this happens again, is to allow a topic to last at least a page (on my end, that's 25 posts) before making a decision like this, unless a topic goes out of hand very quickly.

It lead to me doing no less than 8 hours of star fire, star fire, star fire, heat-s on, 1000, star fire, star fire, star fire, heat-s on, 1000. Yes, I actually did check the time to verify this. Re: a few questions about moderator actions, please read

Hi,@Jayde and othersThe question of good faith/bad faith is subject to variation of judgement as you can't define an action as done in good faith or bad faith without fully realizing the intentions of the original poster; although the points raised in post 28 have been agreed by at least 2 other members, which suggests they had been logical to a great extent. If someone wants to avoid double standards, a viable way is to stop shielding a bunch of members for the sake of the entire community. to explain further, under current circumstances and depending on his own judgement, Jayde, demonstrating the best of his intentions closed the thread in order to avoid further heat and confrontation. since most of you guys are regular visitors on this forum, it may not count as something entirely odd and off the shelf. but think of the bigger picture for an instance. according to the front page of audiogames.net, one of the main purposes of this site is to promote audiogames both among the VI and the sighted individuals. Now, if it had been an independent forum with a separate host and its own rules, the moderators could have done as much to close all the 10,000 plus topics spread out neatly over about 14 plus years and no one would have been able to do a thing about it. as this forum belongs to audiogames.net, and caters to the audiogaming community and not just its members, I think the moderators should hold a bit of consideration towards the community as a whole. the current system of bans or the severity of warnings are internal matters which the moderators are supposed to work out among themselves, but seriously, looking at various forum rooms in a nutshell and finding dozens of recently closed topics is what makes the atmosphere comparatively toxic for someone who intends to visit the forum once in a while, or create an account to become a member (including a potential sighted gamer or developer). in other words, there are other ways to stop the fire from spreading out and I respectfully disagree about closing/locking a thread being a plausible means to do so. if the moderators are able to delete and edit posts, why not considering editing the original post to reflect their position, or delete certain phrases from a post, or the posts themselves, or entire topics when the matter gets out of hand? what I'm trying to put out here is closing a thread represents putting a lid on the topic, making it impossible for rest of the members to reply on that topic. such closed threads being visible once every 500 topics is a thing, but encountering them more than a couple of times per page suggests that something horrible is going on. coming back to the example from post 28, you don't start closing down businesses and establishments just because a group of criminals decided to show up and make the places insecure. when the same is criticized, the enforcement officials blame the citizens one way or the other and fail to realize the actual motive behind such criticism at first place. I'm not trying to disregard what the moderators have done but as a member of a community, it doesn't do well to see every 4 out of 50 topics closed across various rooms just because a group of people could not be handed out harsher punishments. looking at this particular topic, it probably needed to be dealt with, but show the topic to a sighted game developer who intends to be a part of this community as a potential developer, and you get how damaging the action and the moderation post might come across to someone who is not aware about those members in particular. you can't just keep on doing what is dictated by good/bad faith, and ignore the rest of the bystanders who did not yet contemplate entering your bar, eg a particular thread. this is not about a single topic; there have been far more closed threads in recent past. if one takes the defense of stating an increase in number of people who cause fire, I'm certain that the same kind of people used to post on the topics 10 years ago; and there was rarely a closed thread. back then, the moderators had mentioned the fact that games are indeed played by teenagers the most; they deserve to be a part of the forums. unfortunately, things have spiraled down to a point where there are more than 50 different topics concerning a user's behavior, although he ultimately got banned. As a bottom line, please don't curtail free speech. please don't restrict people's ability to post on the forum by closing dozens of topics. please don't make the forum a bigger mess eventually encouraging potential visitors and developers to view the forum in a bad light.and, that is all.edit: for the heck of it, I re-read post 1 through 10 of the topic and nothing suggests a possible flame war. there was certainly a bit of hostile tone but I don't see how the poster intends to force people to use Skype 8 where all he did is question those who do not use it in a

Re: calling all mud players

Sure, I’ll take the plunge.What makes a good activity: three things.1, I need to have something worth working for. CR, as it currently stands, gives me nothing that I feel will drastically change the game for me to work for. Why should I do more button mashing if all I’ll get after doing said button mashing is the ability to do more button mashing? If there isn’t a new mechanic/toy/substantially different goal for me to work for, why should I bother. Why should I spent hours trash collecting just for the ability to go volcano harvesting, which is literally the same thing? Then, why should I spend hours volcano harvesting so that I can go orbit cleaning, which is literally the same activity again. Etcetera. If I have nothing drastically different to look forwards to, I’m done. It doesn’t have to be something huge, even just the ability to do a more advanced quest once my combat skills increase is enough for me.2, the activities ability to engage me.    Let me describe to you what your average cosmic rage activity looks like to me.Type initial command.Type it again.Again.Again.Again.Another 35 times (not exaggerating in the slightest).Oh no something went wrong, type one extra command to fix it.Okay, now type initial command again.And again.And once more.And yet again.And keep going.Done? Now go to the drop off point and type transfer.You’re done, congrats, here’s 50 quadrillion credits. Now, you’ve got to do that 30 more times.This is not mentally engaging in the slightest and is literally something I can do while half asleep. I once said in a previous thread that if I were to play alongside a five-year-old, I would not have any advantages over them. I’m sure you can see why. I’m not particularly sure if it was that you started with these activities to begin with, or that you just caved when people told you what you had was too hard so dropped every aspect of the game’s difficulty to appeal to the weakest link in the player base, but either way, this does not challenge me. If I’m not challenged, and not kept motivated by the prospect of a challenging activity in my near future, I won’t bother slogging through. One way to verify if you’ve created a challenging activity. Can you do it and read a book at the same time? Yes? Then you done fucked up somewhere.Next, presentation. I’m going to keep this point short and sweet, because @Dark did a pretty good job of summarizing my feelings about it. If I have to give you 50 chunks of lead, tell me why, describe to me how it’ll be used to reinforce the outer hull to help prevent as much damage after the next attack. Make me feel that I’m accomplishing something. And for the sake of all that’s good, use proper grammar, spelling, and sentence structure at an elevated reading level, make me feel like I’m part of a real story, not trying to decipher a fifth grader’s very rushed homework. Don’t tell me there is a loud bang noise, describe it, it’s effects on the NPCs around me, etcetera.And lastly, give it some element of risk. If you fuck up, you will lose a lot of credits, or you will make all the ships that are sold to citizens of your home planet more expensive, or…something. If I can fail and only lose five minutes of my time while watching the death scene, I have very little incentive to not fail because seriously, what’s the big deal. And no, hardcore mode isn’t enough, because it’s a toggle that you can opt into.And now, what makes a game worth playing? Bullet point time.Well written, if I see a typo I should be surprised, and I should never see any sort of mistake in newbie content.Bug free, again, I should be surprised if I find one, and I should never see one in any sort of newbie content or activities.Decent numbers of players who are active and engaged in the community, groups of players who interact with no one outside their little subgroup are helping no one.Varied quests or missions or activities.Challenging gameplay requiring strategy and active concentration. Should I kick or throw a fireball? Well, kicking will cost endurance and slow me down in the rest of the fight, but do more damage now, while fireball does less damage and only uses mana, but might backfire on me. Which would work better in this situation. There, see, I’ve just had to think. You don’t need 6000 lines of code to make something challenging.A regularly updated game, but one where the staff don’t see the need to log every tiny addition/typo fix because that just screams “we’re out of ideas and just want it to seem like we’re working.”Well written areas to explore with secrets to find that will be missed by the unobservant passerby, hidden exits/elements in room descriptions that make the lore of the area seem deeper and more fleshed out.Well thought out, consistent lore. Allow discussions of the politics of cracking downloading etc imho. Philosophical sociological legal discussions.  I think links or detailed instructions should be removed as they can probably get the sight in trouble. But cracking down on discussion is basicly creating a thought crime. Moreover, I think it should not be the mods' business what is done outside the forum.

Re: How to stream to Mixer from an Xbox?

Hi,@slj you have to go to the mixer website, sign in with your microsoft account.Next, click "user menu".Then, click broadcast.On that screen there are loads of settings, split up between a broadcast and customize tab. I believe, in the broadcast tab, there is a checkbox that says keep recordings of my previous streams, and once that's enabled, they will be available under the past streams section from the time you next stream.

Re: calling all mud players

Interesting questions! First, there were a lot of good points above. I would like to add that if it is a potentially grinding activity, it is automated so that I can leave the window and read or go clean or cook or something and just check up on it occasionally. If it is not something that is grinding, it can either be aborted with no serious penalty, or it is short enough or constant enough that having a life outside the mud is possible.I am going to bring up Star Conquest again. They do quite a few things right, asteroid mining is a lot of grinding, but once you set it up you can just let it run. On the other hand, I hate ground combat because I do three hours of work and get practiclly nothing useful. Also, I love their exploration system, but like sailing, it is very dependent on the flow and so judging when you will get somewhere, or depending on drift how long it will take you to actually find the thing you're looking for can vary.I think the most important thing for rp muds especially is that people have lives outside the mud, and that will take precedent.A good mud can be any number of things. I think the most important things are player choice, and varius viable ways to advance. Good hosting is important, but not necessarily necessary. I still play Star Conquest even though I do not think their hosts are that in touch with their players.

Thanks for the library download. Now GDE works fine when running in debug mode, but PC Player gives me the following .net error when I try to play a built project: I've looked in the path, and that controller.dat file is definitely there. Hi.@10, a simple sound wouldn't be practicable, due to a simple reason. A sound can't depict exactly how long a curve is and how steap it is. Also, a simple sound is easier to miss than a radio announcement by the pid crew, announcing curves and terain changes is a common thing in ralley racing, I don't see why Forza and other titles can use it.@11, given the fact that we are probably talking about racing games which simulate real motorsport, an object locater would be good to detect cars which are ahead of you or closing in on your position.We would need two different indicators, one if a car is in front and one if it is behind you. When you hear the indicator in the sterrio field you could either start an attack on the oponent in front of you or close the lane so that the other car behind you can't pass you.In adition, as a general wish, the cars position on the track needs to be shown by using the sterrio field, that way you also could better determine if you are drifting twards the gravel or if you are on the outside or inside of a curve and if you can start an attack by utilizing the quicker way on the inside of a corner and zip past your oponent.Greetings Moritz.

Hi There. First of all, I'm thinking of a good hrtf sound library. Something like dreamland where you can easily say that the object is either behind you or it isn't. Second I prefer a direction indicator that beeps, or ticks, towards the direction we have to go although this should be played when we're going in a wrong direction. Another thing. I played need for speed a lot in my childhood. It contained a lot of obsticals that you could hit and make them fall. People who could see used them to trap other racing players under them. So it can be something for us too. They should be indentifyed by a tick sound. The bigger the obbstical is, the lower pitch the tick sound should have.
