I think the first game is still more than worth playing especially for someone new to the series. It was first NVDA deciding it wouldn't read the text at all, even with internet explorer, and then, even when I switched to Supernova, internet explorer deciding not to display the text anymore .So, here's to hoping this new mod works out, heck, if it's got a decent browser interface, the potential is there for it to be even easier to play than the original,especially if they add some of the fun extra stuff that got added in expanded versions like weapon crafting. Re: Lioden: A Browser Lion Sim Okay, as I'm trying to catch up on some needed db entries (and because some recent information about world wildlife preservation week reminded me of this game), I thought I'd give this one another try, and see how dark claw is doing. I was considering making a new topic, since I know random threadcromancy has been a bit of a thing recently, but on reflection I think perhaps having all of the information in the one place might be a good thing, and hopefully also forstall a lot of the "what the heck is this game", type of questions, so in this instance I'll attempt to employ the dark and dismal power of Thradcromancy on the side of good .First, as I said previously, I believed there was an accessibility issue since I couldn't find any descriptions for what the in game items did. Well the answer is I couldn't find them because they aren't there! Yes that's right, unique I think in any web based rpg I've ever seen, Lioden actually doesn't! have any way of telling what the various items are before you buy them. However, there is The item catalogue, found here, which actually does exactly that. So, want to know what a shop, such as the gorilla's enclave sells?Just use the dropdown to select in the catalogue, ( or should that be a lionlogue?, and hit display. Also, the other reason a lot of items don't have descriptions or apparent uses, is that a lot of items just are! there to change a lion's appearance, since in this game, it seems a huge amount of time goes into the aesthetics. These are sort of aprpeciable in terms of being told the skin, eye and maine colours for your lions, and sort of via the graphics that describe them, albeit some text description would be nice. Still, for people bent on just exploring the landscape and building their pride, a lot of the appearance items are less consequential. Also, take note of the various filter options and the dropdown in the hoard tab, indeed a quick way to see my pride is well fed and happy is to simply find food/amusement items, and use the dropdown to see which of my lions might need them, rather than needing to use the tables on the pride overview.Now, impression: impressing lionesses is actually possible to do. Unfortunately, you don't get a textual description of the metres involved, but can usually tell from the text of the way the lioness reacts to your actions. I haven't %100 worked out how all of the actions correspond to the different lioness personalities, or how best to capitalise on them, accept purring, but I have had some success and Dark claw now has four wives, albeit none are ready to start making little dark claws quite yet .It's also quite possible to change lioness orders directly from the "update lion" hotspot on each lioness's page, where you can set them to go on hunts for you.Now on to the few miner issues. I still have not been able to change any of the in game settings successfully, even "toggle tips", which is very annoying since it gives an irritating popup every time I go to my hoard, or even change the filters. I clikc the text, and then click save, but nothing seems to alter, which is irritating, but livable with. What is slightly more irritating is the hunt display, since there is no indication once you click a region to hunt in and have checked which lionesses you want to hunt there, which region has been selected, though you can always do this by memory. Unfortunately, several of the minigames seem very graphical, so are thus inaccessible, on the other hand, as these are minigames that is hardly crucial.Other than that, the game seems very accessible, since where graphical information is lacking, it's either possible to dope out from the text, (EG though the map labels aren't great, they are at least numbered telling you which one to go for at which level), , or get a good idea from the graphics. Hopefully some of these hints will help, and I'll have another poke around and see what else I can find out. Re: Golden Crayon, a new building game! OK. So back on topic. Kind of derailed it earlier but now for my actual opinion of the game.It's pretty nice. A little like SBYW, a little like 3DYW, but much more managed and there's a lot of cool options.It's got lots of sources and platforms and walls to choose from, and a cool feature where you can actually play your own music through the map.It's not laggy in my experience anyways, and even with the keyboard sounds and what not turned on.I get a ping around 45 to 50 milliseconds.The game can be a bit large, about 600 MB, and the BGT downloader is a bit slow, so you may want to look at post 10 for the download link for the sounds.If you've got any more questions I'd be happy to answer them for you. As a beta tester I've been playing since one of the first versions and can tell you that if you want a new and fun game to play, this should definitely be one of your choices. Damn it i had a realy nice post for this planned out where I pointed out some tips and pointers about it and you had to just come before me and copy paste the readme. whaaa.Anyway, its so far a pretty decent game. Its a decent alternative to SBYW if you want something where you can build in a 3d environment, and its much better than that poorly managed 3dyw.So before you complain about lag, note you have to turn off beacons by hitting f 6 and f4 for the sign, and hit slash, and hit f4 to turn off player keyboard sounds. He should be turning them off by default, but I'm hopeful about this one. the lag isn't bad, its low hundred's and folks from north America to Europe have a stable connection.If you wish to pick up the sounds seperately, do so at http://tunmi13.ddns.net/projects/golden … sounds.datAnd lastly guys, if you're gonna jump and give feedback at least come on and give it a try for five minutes. But at the end of the day, what really counts is how you handle being challenged by others' beliefs.All this science vs religion vs other stuff. I honestly think it's ridiculous.They each have benefits. Proving, disproving, theories, axioms, etc.We're all just here to figure it out. Yes, science has a bit of an upper hand in that regard. But that doesn't mean science can answer everything. And if you really think that, well, that's just too bad and I am truly sorry you feel that way. Likewise for religion. Most printers should work.The easiest to setup maybe the hp envy series.Hp envy 4520 is what I use its probably quite old now and the latest was the 6000 series according to my local computer store pb electronics.Software wize its easy to install, and such and will run eprint.If you want cheaper the next in line seems to be the hp deskjet 2000 followed by 3000 series and those should work.Of interesting note, the cannon pixma mg 2400 will work via usb.This was a printer I used with my grandpa and well it just worked.As for your printer not connecting to wifi, if and when you can get back to her place, you may find the previder updated her network and reset all the information so the printer can no longer connect.In the first instance I'd restart her modem and fibre box by turning them off at the wall and waiting for 20 seconds.Now I can't tell you the spaciffics of the next steps but since a lot of router configurations are universal, the next links in sequence are from the home dashboard,settings or tools, advanced setup or advanced, wireless configuration basicmake sure the username or ssid is set correctly.On security, make sure your wireless is set at wpa level2 psk and make sure the key you put in is correct, should be a show password button to check it.On advanced, make sure autosteering is off, could be in basic though, and make sure the networks all match for their 2 and 5g respectively.Hit apply, then turn off the printer by unplugging it then turn it on.You may need sighted access to configure it again for its network.Your wireless printer should have direct usb connection.If you can't be fucked or for whatever reason the wireless signal is no good, short of pissing about with channels, you should get a computer that directly connects to lan and then it will just work.Of course if your great grandma doesn't use a laptop and for a person like this she probably uses a desktop, a usb port and usb connection should work just fine. I've burned my fingertip plenty of times trying to figure this stuff out, and kind of knew that the flame went up regardless of how the bic was oriented. But I think my solution was to use a steeper angle and position my bowl slightly below where I thought the flame would end up. This probably put it way closer to the flame than it needed to be, and explains why it catches like a California wildfire and crackles very audibly, and gives me a much harsher hit than when others light for me. I'll try a shallower angle next time.And since this is a torch lighter, I'll point the flame jets directly at the side of the pen tip for starters. Worst case I'll pester a COVID-safe sightling in a few days.
