@visualstudio,I believe they are aware of that, specially because of the spoken ATC feature they now have available.And I believe if ItsYourPlane really becomes open source they will be able to do something to make it work with Flight Gear and maybe even make it better.

@Orin,I guess there is a pretty big Community of Flight Gear players out there. And it looks like they also have a lot of people programing and working on it.And judging by the answers I got so far it looks some of the programers are interested and willing to give it a try.Maybe after seing what MCE, FS Pilot and ItsYourPlane do and after understanding how We interact with Screen Readers and how they work they can come up with something.They know its possible and so do We. So now lets keep our fingers crossed.

Orin,Are You asking Me or visualstudio?Regarding prepar3d I have Version 2 but cannot make NVDA read a single thing on the menus...I'm wondering if it has anything to do with Graphics resolution or some NVDA configuration I might be missing or not setting at all since I primarily use Jaws and only use NVDA in case of some sort of emergency when Jaws does not work at all...

Visualstudio,That's what I'm doing with Jaws but it just says "blank"...With NVDA it reads the links but nothing else...Do You know if it has anything to do with Screen resolution?My Screen is showing at 150% with a resolution of 2048x1152 and I formatted the Computer yesterday.

Starting Microsoft Flight Simulator X Steam Edition

Hey there!Well, I'm having a problem that is really annoying Me and would like someone to please try to help Me find a solution...I installed Microsoft Flight Simulator X Steam Edition and when I launch it Jaws only reads a part of the Screen where there are a few links to tutorials and stuff like that and I can't access any of the Buttons like "Free Flight" and so on. I also tried NVDA with the same result.Is there a way of getting rid of that screen and go to where the buttons are? Something like a script or a  a command?I'm running Windows 10 64Bit and Jaws 18

Orin,I only formatted the Computer once.The funny thing is after I installed MCE for the first time after formatting I got the message saying the demo was expired, which I would understand if I was still running it under the old Windows installation.Then I uninstalled it and reinstalled and that's when I changed the properties on the Wizzard file which allowed Me to be able to configure it but then of course I got the message again...So of course I will not buy the Aerosoft Airbus to be able to use the demo. I would if it was very cheap and if I did not want to fly any other Plane...So I will buy MCE within the next Days and wait until October when  FSX Pilot goes Open Source.

Well, now I'm absolutely p**+ed off!So I formatted the Computer and reinstalled everything again.The problem with MCE persisted and to make it a bit different, when I started it first time after install I got the message asking if I could see the screen, to what I said no. Then I couldn't do anything else because the wizard window kept minimized and the only way it would be visible was by keeping ALT+TAB pressed and of course even with the help of a sighted person clicking the "next" button was not doing anything.So I quit the wizard, go and check the MCE.ini file, change values and when I start it again I get a message saying the demo expired... Expired? I just formatted the computer and installed everything...So I emailed MCE support saying what happened and answering their questions regarding my settings and uninstalled MCE, cleaned everything and reinstalled it again.Of course everything stayed the same until the moment I decid
 ed to check the properties of xpwiz.exe.So I went to the compatibility tab, checked an option that says "override high DPI settings" or something like that, clicked the combo box next to it and changed it to system and the wizard stayed on the screen allowing Me to configure it.I thought everything was fine until I ran MCE again and got the message saying the demo was expired... So what the hell is going on with this thing?

Well J Love...,I guess We are having no luck with MCE...I can't access the Wizzard nomatter what I do...Yesterday when I started MCE there was a voice saying "OK" and there was the chatter from ATC. Today just the voice...And of course I'm also having the same problem with speech eventhough sound devices are set properly...I'm about to pull off all my hair... Or maybe not... I guess before that I will format the Computer and reinstall everything which is something I've been postponing just for the sake of testing this things...

JLove,Those were the same things I changed but ver got neither Jaws or NVDA to be able to read the Wizzard and I wonder how You could read it...As for the Sound its kind of strange assuming You configured it properly since You could access the Wizzard.That is something I could not do since I don't know what to type or how to identify My USB Headset on the MCE.ini file.I'm waiting from an Email from the support to see if they can help Me.Also I think someone mentioned an Email for suggestions. I will look on their Page and see if I find it so I can suggest they include some sort of NVDA support since NVDA is Open Source and they can access the source code which would help Us a lot. But if anyone has that Email and wants to post it here I believe it will help more People.

Orin,I tried to access the MCE wizard with NVDA as You suggested but can't get to the buttons to click next and change values if needed. It reads the first screen and that's all.J Love, I assume You probably had the same problem with the wizard and from what You said You changed values in the .ini file. So what values You changed and what did you put after the entries regarding sound and microphone?

Although I don't normally use NVDA and Am not familiar with it I will try Your suggestion.I would like to use a copy of Prepar3d I have but I can't pass the first screen because no Screen Reader seems to read it although I guess there are Blind People using it...I want to see which Program is the best and will also try X-Plane to see which one I will end-up buying.FSX seems to be more accessible but Prepar3d and X-Plane seem to be more realistic.Another question I have is FSX Steam edition can only be played Online or when I buy it I get a copy of it?

Hello,So I have a few questions and maybe also some comments.Visualstudio was talking about Prepar3d and My question is how do You start the Game and access the menus and options? I'm using Jaws and can't access anything. So I'm wondering how can it be used either with ItsYourPlane or MCE. So any help will be very much appreciated since I have a Copy of Prepar3d.Regarding FSX. It seems to be a bit more accessible but for some reason when I start the Game, select a Plane and minimize the window to start ItsYourPlane demo it says there is no Aircraft loaded and FSX crashes... So I want to try ItsYourPlane demo with Prepar3d to see whats happening and of course also try MCE.Now in regards to ItsYourPlane not being upgraded, Orin said Robert seems not to care about it anymore which is not true. Take a look at ItsYourPlane Page and see what is writen there.Robert is having Health problems and sadly Licenses for ItsYourPlane are not being iss
 ued anymore and hopefully at some point ItsYourPlane will become  open source.So for Me right now ItsYourPlane is not an alternative since it can't be bought, so I will try MCE and hope You Guys can tell Me of other alternatives to make it possible to play either FSX or Prepar3d.As for Flight Gear I will try it but as someone already mentioned, since its open source it would be cool if someone with programming skills would do something to make it accessible or if suggestions can be made to people developping the Game.
