Re: Code 7 VI Mode Is Out Now And Has A Charity Sale Hi!I'm currently playing episode III and experiencing some strange issues.Spoiler alert, of course.In the missions centrale, I first had access to two missions. I've started the first data collecting mission and went through it normally. But now here's the thing : first, the mission seem to not have disapeared from my list, I still can start it all over again, and it seems to happen the same way. Second, apparently I've granted access (without being noticed I just did while looking through the list) to three or four other missions, nearly all related to parts of the story I just don't know about. For example, I can investigate about some kind of black dragon organisation. I also have access to a mission related to Gorsky, which must be the next part of the second mission I had on my initial list, which was supposed to investigate in order to find his hiding place.I don't think that's supposed to happen this way.By the way, some optionnal dialogs seem to disapear without us being able to choose a question. It happens when two dialogs pop up at the same time, for example at the end of the first mission, when you can, at the same time, ask your two contacts if they're married for example, and ask questions about the storyline itself. The more optionnal dialog seem to be erased by the main one.Besides, nice job! The map explorer is the best i could come up with, but i have no idea if it'll be sufficient. I'm waiting for your feedback on further steps. the problem is that the enemies in the action based sequences are moving and while you can try to understand their movement with the map tool, i don't know how good it'll work. But in order to do so I have to ask you : is the camera minigame solved? I use a macbook pro, with 8 gigs of ram and an I5 processer. The game itself runs fine, but my fan likes to push. Running on bootcamp over here with windows 10 64 bit professional. I was trying to change my screen resolution to its lowest setting and my flickering to 0, but my screen resolution still likes to not stick when in settings. Is there anything I can do about this? So no more Zira!Please note that for some reason, changing it the normal way doesn't seem to work, at least it didn't for me on windows 10. You'll have to go to C:\Windows\System32 and run the file named control.exe. That'll open the 32 bit version of the control panel, where you just find the TTS settings and change them to the voice and speed you prefer.Unfortunately, many voices won't show up that way. But I was able to switch to Microsoft David, which, while a bit more clippy, is still much better in my opinion.I hope you're all having lots of fun playing Code7! Re: Code 7 VI Mode Is Out Now And Has A Charity Sale Hi.Well I have decided to restart the game from the start.in ep 0, at the end of the first preasure puzzle, the game just froze, you heard walking as a loop and it just never finnished.I was able to restart the program, and that part then went through, but now I am on the first soli scenes, just when you try and fail to hack the ai, the game at this point just stops at that point and refuses to continue.This means ep0 can not be finnished.I havn't found any extras in ep1 but I will play that next. The game has to load all dialog audios from the harddrive every few seconds, so a slow harddrive will slow the game down. Since the game has grown a lot, it is now bigger than 1GB and so the upload on itch.io is disabled as of right now. I'm trying to get in contact with them, but nobody is answering. I hope it's not because it's the weekend.Anyways. On other platforms like Steam or Humble, you should be able to just download a new build and after that, it should be available. We don't have the ability to send out emails to people.Please be aware that we are still heavily fixing the accessibility mode with the help of our blind players over at our Discord, so you might have to redownload a few more times.We really tried to deliver the blind-friendly mode at launch this time, but there are definitely some ways that it still needs fixing,, like we weren't really able to playtest everything in this massive 10-hour gameplay update in the accessibility mode.So there are parts where you might still get stuck. If you tell me you feel like there's a part that's not narrated correctly, then please tell me and I'll try to push a fix as soon as possible. I haven't slept anyways why start now. (awkward laugh)We did push a new setting in the game, which is called the "expert blind mode". if you enable it, no content will be skipped anymore. We heard your pleads to enable all content in the game and this unlocks everything, but be aware that these parts are heavily visual and real-time action based. By holding down shift you can at all times pause the game and then explore the surrounding area with your arrow keys. (hold them down to move a cursor on the map, when you find something it'll tell you)That's it for now. Back to fixing. Re: Code 7 VI Mode Is Out Now And Has A Charity Sale Hi all.Well the game updates are out, but not all links seem to work.Humble bundle seems down, and my ich.io link hasn't come yet due to file size limits, the update on the ich page is that we will get our updates eventually.To be honest, code7 was really hard ep1 I will not be repeating simply because of cameras, need I say more but its good more of this is out, a nice scifi saga.The story always intregues me though.Is this a bad ai, or simply the cause of several affairs and other funny business in the first station the ai was on in the first place.People wanting stuff they couldn't have and breaking the rules.In ep1, the same thing continues, the story does have the evil ai aspect but then again you wcouldn't call a few of the humans in the story any better than the ai and in fact full of their own agendas and evils themselves certainly I wouldn't call most humans in the code7 universe stable or nice, and in some places I side with the ai, some of those humans are simply quite evil themselves.I guess that is what the story is supposed to make us think, its not all cut and dried.We get hints of that all the way through ep1, at least and some in ep0 and I suspect this will continue in eps 2 and 3.I do hope ep4 comes out soon to. You also need to have a somewhat fast rate because it won't interrupt on keypress and you need to do certain sequences under a time limit, so a slow voice kills you there. On the other hand buying from Steam means tangling with steam itself which is not very accessible, so I'd personally recommend using one of the alternatives such as Itch.io or indeed just buying directly from goodwolf themselves. I did find the tab key but I didn't try it on the navigation mode since I assumed it didn't work when you were actually having to enter textual input if I replay episode zero I will try that. Re: Code 7 VI Mode Is Out Now And Has A Charity Sale Okay the game now has a db page, though it's shorter than I would've liked since I didn't want to give any spoilers, I've given a link to Itch.io so people can find the demo though I've also put a link to the shop. steam is pretty terrible for accessibility and so I'm glad there are purchase alternatives out there though I'm not %100 sure what you mean by "trading cards".I've now finished the demo and have a couple of questions. Beware! episode zero spoilage ahoy!). firstly I wondered how you actualy knew what was where on the map. Basically I had to type in random leters until I came up with the code of somewhere in order to direct Sam there. Secondly, I do remember reading in one thread that a couple of were not included for accessibility reasons. One involving redirecting Sam around robots would've been nice, but the one which really disappointed me was the confrontation with Soli on the ship. I was expecting something a bit hands on and bing! he's gone in a cynematic? was there another minigame there? I did notice a bunch of blocks (or they might have been letters), going read or yellow, so I wonder if there was some sort of tetris style puzzle absorb Soli's memory/Just as a miner niggle, that one did feel a little bit of an anticlimax since I really would've preferd some way of dealing with Soli in a more hands on way rather than waiting for it to happen.Anyway I did really enjoy the game and will likely be picking up a season pass in the future. Although in the 22nd century you'd think that they'd have moved to other means of identification. Regarding the memory loss I think it may be possible given who Alex is.I mainly wish that you had descriptions of events that happened if the game skipped over minny games. Its especially a problem in episode 0 when you don't really know what happened between one room and the escape pod.
