I don't see that behaviour with material, playlist changes are automatically saved for me. (I don't use any streaming services). I cleared the play queue. Started playing 1 track. Saved the play queue as "kidstypiketest". Waited until DSTM kicked in. Added 2 tracks. Looked at the m3u file in Notepad++, it contained the three tracks. Reboot and LMS should be started without the MySqueezebox Settings tab. EDIT: A few things are not ideal about this solution but it's all we have for now: 1. You need to remember to repeat the disable normal LMS service start whenever you update your LMS version 2. Windows can monitor running services and restart them if they crash; a task at startup can't do the same. Thanks for the detailed instructions, but I've struggled to get it to work. I disabled LMS in services, created a new task as you described, but it will not run at startup, I can start it manually, but a prompt box sits on the desktop, as soon as I close this, LMS stops. Yes, I'm seeing much the same thing with LMS running on Windows Server 2008 R2, and the client on Windows 7. Do you see the same behaviour with the regular BMF, too? BMF works fine. Just to be clear: in BMF you can create a folder and it would show up when you browse there, but in browse filesystem mode the new folder would _not_ show up? And this problem only exists in the browser? -- Michael Yes. kidstypike 1x SB3 - 1x Boom - 1x (Squeezebox) Radio - 2x Touch - 1x piCorePlayer kidstypike's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10436 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=101928 ___ beta mailing list beta@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
Re: [SlimDevices: Beta] 7.9: Play tracks without storing them in thedatabase
Can't get this to work. If I attach a USB drive with say 1 album, I can browse to it via Discs and folders, but clicking on a music file won't play it. Also, if I wipe/reformat the USB drive and add another different album, when I browse to it the old album is listed, clearing the browser cache, doesn't help, I cannot get to the new album. (tried Firefox, Chrome and Torch browsers). kidstypike 1x SB3 - 1x Boom - 1x (Squeezebox) Radio - 2x Touch - 1x piCorePlayer kidstypike's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10436 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=101928 ___ beta mailing list beta@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
