CFX Tag help
Hi All, I am using CFX_google on one of the application I am working on. I have downloaded the tag from CFDEV website http://www.cfdev.com/xml/soap/google/ It comes in open source so you can pretty much change it. I want to know if any body can help me to change the max results in the class file and the generate the JAR file for me. I have no knowledge at all of JAVA so any help is appreciated. OT: Language Translation Web Service
Hi All, I have a project where I need to give a choice to people to translate a HTML page into different languages. Actually have to carry over that translate button in footer on every page. Hi, I have a intranet application where I am allowing people to download access database. Following is the code I am using CFHEADER NAME=content-disposition VALUE=attachment; filename=#FileName# CFCONTENT TYPE=application/octet-stream FILE=#application.filehttppathstring##location# DELETEFILE=No My problem is when I want to save the file it gives me 2 options Save as HTML Document or All files. CFMAIL too slow on Coldfusion MX Standard 6.1 version
Hi All, I want to improve the CFMAIL performance for our CF SERVER. Here is the server info: CF: Coldfusion MXStandard 6.1 version OS: Windows 2000IIS5.0 2.8 GHZ Pentium 4 with 1GB RAM and about 8 sites hosted on that server which are low traffic sites. It took me about 5 hours to email 1000 emails. which is too low number for emails to go out. Can anybody help me with suggestions what should I do in setting to increase the performance of CFMAIL. passing sessions between 2 sites
I have a shopping cart that it is losing all of its values when the user hits the checkout button and takes them to my secure checkout page. Example, the user is shopping at www.store.com and purchase several items which are saved as session variables (session.cartdata), they then would click on the checkout button which goes to https://secure.securestore.com, but all of the session variables are lost. the checkoutbutton has the following code behind cfoutput form method=POST action=""> target=_blank input type=submit value=Checkout name=submit /form /cfoutput Any suggestions to avoid losing my session. I am perfoming a XML Service call and when I get back the results I get all the HTML in the results converted. eg: BR is converted to lt;brgt; Following is a example of my results returned: >From Birmingham Int'l Airport: lt;brgt; Take I-20 East to Atlanta to I-459 South. lt;brgt; Follow I-459 South to Exit 19 (Highway 280).lt;brgt; Go right heading east and go down two miles.lt;brgt; Hotel is located on the right-hand side. Hi All, I want to backup couple of access tables every night, means just make a copy of the table. Is there any easy solution to just copy the table instead of me writing a script to grab all records and then insert to the table. I have about 10,000 records in the table with about 10 fields. Site-wide Error Handler in CFMX Admin
Hi All, Does anybody have Site-wide Error Handler working in CFMX admin. I have a script which works on CF5.0 but doe snot work on CFMX. Also I am confused with this explainiation. Specify the relative path to a template to execute when the ColdFusion Application Server encounters errors while processing a request I tired calling my path as /cftools/systemerror.cfm and also c:\cftools\systemerror.cfm but no luck. Server busy error.
Hi All, I am facing a strange issue with CF timeout or CF Server. I have a script which can run anywhere from 2 seconds to 5 minutes. Sometimes I get following error message. Error Diagnostic Information Request canceled or ignored by server Server busy or unable to fulfill request. The server is unable to fulfill your request due to extremely high traffic or an unexpected internal error. Please attempt your request again (if you are repeatedly unsuccessful you should notify the site administrator). (Location Code: 26) I am not sure whatsetting can resolve this also I have set the requesttimeout=600 so I think this should be enough. I am not sure how to debug or solve this one. Has anybody done a recursive function using cfquery results. I want to recursively query the table till I get the results or the timer of 90 seconds is done. The only reason why I need to do that is because I have one more script running in the background which is inserting records in the table and my job is to fetch records as it inserts and stop till I get end signal or its 90 seconds. Hi Phillip, Let me explain you the whoe situation and may be you can tell me a solution. I have a CF form. When I submit this CF form to my other CF page I call a CGI script using CFHTTP, the CGI script once receives my request it acknowledge me that it has received and started the data insertion process. So now control comes back to my CF Page, then my CF page has tosearch the data which is being inserted by the cgi script in the background. It may take some time for cgi script to complete the whole process. So my job is to display the data till I find END line in my search for the data. In essence cgi is inserting data and at the same time I am displaying the data on the screen. So when I do a cfquery I will only get the records which are inserted by cgi, my problem is I have to keep looking till cgi is done inserting and allways my last record will be a string called .Timer is just a addon on so I just dont be in the recursive loop forever. Load issue on CF5.0 Server.
hi all, suddenly on one of my CF server I am having some load issue,I have seen some traffic increase on the sites but not that significant which will take the server down. Something is going onthe server but cant figure out what. Is there any setting in Win2k Serverconfig where I can monitor the service and CPU usage and automatically restart the CF Service. I have setting on First Failure restart the service but don't think it helps. Any CF Guru's may have any answers to it. Here is the server config: Windows 2000 IIS 5.0 CF5.0 Also one more strange thing I see is CFServer is using the highest memory on the server. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. CFquery question on simultaneous lookup
hi all, I have a situation where I have to read the data from the table while the other script is inserting data at the same time. Means I have a cgi script which inserts data and cfm page is calling that inserted data till it finds end word in one of the field. How I can do that using cfflush. I have to search the data and display it at the same time look for the new records added to the table till I get END form one of the field. I tried cfquery and loop but problem is cfquery will only return 1 record how can I tell it to start again till I get END and do not look for already searched results. Does anybody have answer for this .When I use cflib function wordinstance() sometimes CPU usage will max out ,it reaches its max to 100%.It takes a good amount of time to open the page.
