I am not seeing this at all in any place anywhere in outlook 2000, either
in the main window or looking when creating a message.
Well, I tried using pegasus and I can get the messages thru fine. I need
to permanently disable sending messages in mime format in outlook but
every security option is grayed out. Anyone know how to make it so I can
modify them?

is this a goed idea?

2002-04-03 Thread Kiran, Murat

Gentel people,

is that goed idea, and/or possible (i am testing at home and it doesnt work)) to
replicate 3 different smtp recipients (domain level)to an E2K server through one way
connection agreement.
I mean from 5.5 org's to e2K org.
What I want to see is next:

- Configure e2k server as a gateway then he accepts all messages to a, b, and c with a
common name for ex: abc@com.
and the messages will be forwarded to real recipient through a secondary smtp address.
what i want to achieve is through connection agreements, to make the recipients from 3
other org's visible on e2k server(org).

exuses for my poor english

To remember:
the sender of calender meeting recieves ndr voor the recipient and also
in some cases some messages.

When i study ndr messege i notice that the recipient which is mentioned
is the old (in most cases the second mailbox of the same user which has
been deleted )mailbox.

for example:
I send a message or a meeting request to murat but i recieve ndr for
murat2 after a while i recieve thatmessage has been delivered. And the
reciever has the calender meeting request.

In messages case if it goes wrong he event recieve the message but if

This is being irritating.

Soory for my late reaction.

I think we are about to solve this problem.

When i made a second mailbox for the same user and tested it then i dont
recieve any NDR.
Now the Q is what will happen when i remove it again.
I ll see it tonight. And after i remove it i ll try inconsistency check,
DS/IS i hope this helps.

Tommorrow i have more to tell.

There's a clean mailbox utility (on bork?) which can be used to clean
rules
and such. Might consider running it. Mbclean.exe I think.

Actually, I have been having the same problem here - with our
VP. We have actually checked in his Outlook for any
delegates, and there are none. There are absolutely no
references at all to this former employee. Yet, whenever a
calendar request is sent to this VP the sender gets an NDR
back, just like is mentioned in here. The only other thing
that we could think of was to delete the mailbox and recreate
it (which we haven't done yet). If anybody else has any
better ideas, please let us know. Looks like there are lots
of us with this problem . . .

You won't find it on the Delegates tab in Exchange Administrator. The
*real* recipient still has the former employee defined as a
delegate in Outlook. The user (AKA *real* recipient) must
 remove it.

I'm actually having this exact problem. The NDR is for the
former employee. I have gone into the delegates section and
removed the name, but the error is still there. Any
suggestions on how to get rid of this 'phantom' delegate entry?

 Thanks

Calender sync

2001-12-12 Thread Kiran, Murat

Folks,

Another interesting problem.
Calender Sync btw client (notebook) and server is not going good.
The other users who has access to these calenders see only dark
higlighted days but when they try to see what is planned , it is empty.
Replacing .ost file, recreating new profile or mailbox dont help. All
other folders syncs good.

Exc 5.5 sp 3 outlook 98.

Any idea.

Subject: How to delete ghost public folders?

Is there a way to delete ghost or inaccessible public folders in an
Exchange 5.5 site on NT4, SP4? Unfortunately, 2 sites were setup
incorrectly with a regular user as the owner w/out adding the Exchange
Admin
account as owner. Now, we cannot access these folders.

For instance, we have one for Lansource (application specific) other
user-specific folders.

Look for an app called SimpleSync. I saw it at MEC, and it looked very
promising. Don't remember the vendor, however.

Alternately, you could get really jiggy with it and use the ADC with a
Win2k
domain for cross-population. Or for the truly demented amongst us, bring
up
a virgin Win2k doman and ADC between both Exchange orgs and the Win2k
 domain.
