When your ideas are not challenged mightily, you brain dries up like old pudding sitting on a shelf. People like Turq cannot manipulate you if you simply ignore what they say. You have a choice not to interact. If you cannot deal with it, but nonetheless read it, and complain, it means you are complicit, a partner in crime, if you so characterise what someone is saying. We know this is what you believe, you have said it enough times here and over at The Peak, but it doesn't make it necessarily true for anyone but yourself. Others, like myself, don't see repetition, endless haranguing and the lack of thoughtful input by another to be anything that stimulates creative thought or opens ones mind (and I am not just talking about Turq). And I would certainly insist that to not respond to those on this planet who spread lies and seek to manipulate the truth in some mean-spirited manner are for more complicit, a partner in crime. There are always those willing to turn a blind eye to both injustice and falsehoods and this makes them, what? Complicit but it is hardly indicative of a strong or open nature and certainly does nothing to further positivity on the planet. ---In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, steve.sundur@... wrote : says the one post a month, twelve posts a year, guy ---In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, geezerfreak@... wrote : Alex: Regardless of how folks feel about Turq, moderation should be carried out transparently, and not in a secret, undefined manner. [FairfieldLife] What is a single thought?
I once heard Maharishi Mahesh Yogi say, .and they don't even know what a thought is. At the time, we all felt so smug, but 40 years later, I'm wondering if FFL could possibly agree on a definition. I maintained that I have 5 thoughts per second. My definition of thought is a complete concept. Using this definition, I note that when I count as fast as I can, mentally, I can get up to five before the second hand clicks to the next second. Each number is clearly heard in my mind rather than it being kind of slurringly said process. You? Here's the rub: obviously the brain/body is processing actual millions of inputs, and most of the material is ignored. Proof being that YOUR elbow just now that I mention it is found to be sending you messages about its position, pressures on it, clothing rubbing sensations etc. This information is broadcast 24/7 to you, but almost never gets to the front burner of consciousness. Clearly 5 thoughts per second is a relative concept. Never-the-less, I like to offer it as a starter concept about thought. If one CAN have conscious awareness of five thoughts per second, then the concept of cherry picking comes to my fore. Seems to me that all of us are cherry picking which of our thoughts to attend and which to ignore, but this picking is automated and usually not a conscious choice. Seems to me, enlightenment is a kind of surrendering to this vastness of processing -- it being a perfect example of karma is unfathomable and so just relax and let it all happen. Q: Can there be awareness without an object of awareness? Nisargadatta: Awareness with an object we called witnessing. When there is also self-identification with the object, caused by desire or fear, such a state is called a person. In reality there is only one state; when distorted by self-identification it is called a person, when coloured with the sense of being, it is the witness; when colourless and limitless, it is called the Supreme.

Gotta love it! Just right now another call rang once with the ID Name Not Found and went to the Dead Zone. I was picking those up and acting like an automated call myself introducing Name Finders International and saying if you are having problems finding your name, look under your desk. If you can't find it there, look in the waste basket. If you can't find it there look up your ass where your head is. Usually by then they had hung up. A lot of these are solar panel scams or companies trying to save me money on my electric bill. Problem is my electric bill is already low and below the threshold where you get any help for modifications. On 06/21/2015 09:44 PM, ultrarishi wrote: I live in Oregon and I am a Democrat. I take the calls from the Republicans, however, so I can fuck with them for a while. We have vote by mail here, which I love, so most of the calls are unnecessary anyway.

So much better to defeat an enemy by words, if you don't give them the excuse to get the truncheons out they have to open a dialogue with you or stick their hands in their ears and pretend you don't exist somehow. We assembled at the Bank of England and listened to various rabble rousers demanding revolution and then we marched - all 250,000 of us - all the way to Parliament square, past Downing street, past the shoppers on the Starnd, past the queues for the theatres, past the hordes of tourists in Trafalgar

cult 1. a system of religious veneration and devotion directed toward a particular figure or object. 2. a relatively small group of people having religious beliefs or practices regarded by others as strange or sinister. synonyms: sect, denomination, group, movement, church, persuasion, body, faction 3. a misplaced or excessive admiration for a particular person or thing. synonyms: obsession with, fixation on, mania for, passion for, idolization of, devotion to, worship of, veneration of Now that the banished person on FFL who devoted a considerable amount of free time energy to explaining that the TM org is a cult is gone, and that observation indicates approximately half the active members of FFL are still under the influence of cult-like thought patterns; now that that person has been eliminated, we should see an increase in docile, cult-like behaviour on FFL, and a lowering of the level of intelligent discussion. (That is an hypothesis by the way, not a truth) There was a scientific paper written in 1984 by neuroscientist Michael Persinger titled Striking EEG Profiles from Single Episodes of Gossolalia and Transcendental Meditation in which he wrote: 'Transient, focal, epileptic-like changes in the temporal lobe, without convulsions, have been hypothesised to be primary correlates of religious experiences. Given these properties, direct measurement of these phenomena within the laboratory should be rare. However, two illustrated instances have been recorded. The first case involved the occurrence of a delta-wave-dominant electoral seizure for about 10 sec. from the temporal lobe only of a Transcendental Meditation teacher during a peak experience within a routine TM episode. The second case involved the occurrence of spikes within the temporal lobe only during protracted intermittent episodes of glossolalia [speaking in tongues] by a member of a Pentecostal sect. Neither subject had any psychiatric history. These observations are commensurate with the hypothesis that religious experiences are natural correlates of temporal lobe transients that can be detected by routine EEG measures.' Persinger is a cognitive neuroscientist, and his theories of religious experience have received some criticism; he is of the belief that strong magnetic field can induce religious experiences, but his research has not been convincingly replicated. More of note Persinger wrote a book with two other authors in 1980 called TM and Cult Mania in which he investigated the efficacy of TM. 'TM and Cult Mania takes a look at the assertions made by the Transcendental Meditation movement and analyses them from a scientific perspective. The book acknowledges that those who practice the Transcendental Meditation technique feel relaxed and experience an increase in creativity. According to the book, the physiological effects reported by the scientific studies on Transcendental Meditation are relatively small from a scientific perspective and no more effective than many other meditation techniques. Transcendental Meditation is seen as most noteworthy due to its ability to manipulate stress and expectancy.' The authors concluded 'Transcendental Meditation has achieved international recognition through commercial exploitation' and 'poor scientific procedures ' and that 'the reported effects of TM upon human behaviour are trivial. Considering the alleged potency of the TM procedure, the changes in physiological and behavioural measures are conspicuously minute'. TM and Cult Mania comes to the conclusion that, 'science has been used as a sham for propaganda by the TM movement.' The book was criticised by some because Persinger associated religious beliefs and spiritual practices with mental illness, that he cast spiritual interests under a cloud of psychopathology. Having been on FFL now for about four years, I think that psychopathy is quite evident on this Yahoo group, and that now that the Buck persona seems to be in charge of the way things go, that pathology of cult behaviour will intensify unless there are enough counterbalancing voices that are not suppressed, to keep this mental illness from spreading. Now I have practiced TM into my fifth decade, and as is known here, I seem to have some slight sociopathic tendencies. These tendencies have increased through the practice of TM. I feel the changes are positive, but they can be described in negative language. Loss of the small self can be described as 'depersonalisation' which is as good a tag as any. The persona gets thrown out from the centre of your life to the periphery, where it becomes an object, like trees and rocks. Everything in the universe becomes an object, and consciousness or awareness becomes the subject, and disappears from view. During most of the practice though, before this depersonalisation occurs, awareness/consciousness is basically regarded as

Nice post. You might be interested in some Taoist benchmarks concerning enlightenment: Normal State — Wandering mind. Some will often have 3-6 (or more) threads/dialogs of thought jumping around.Temporary One Thread — In meditation, one quiets to one focused thread (as in mantra or concentration). At this state, one may begin to notice energy (if looking for it).Temporary Quiet Mind — One can begin to see/trace thoughts.Stable Quiet Meditation — One can perceive the nature/energy of mind. Can perceive astral experiences.Expansion of Quiet Mind to Normal Life — One begins to see themselves doing things. An example is seeing yourself getting angry, but can't stop yourself.Quiet Mind in Life — Usually only one thread going, sometimes no threads. Can see and stop yourself from getting angry.Calm Mind — No real thoughts unless there is something to do/decide. Meditation and life are the same. Often described as nothingness. Many stop here and declare victory.Noticing Oneness — Something tickles the calm mind. Curiosity returns. Begin to break beyond the local body-mind.See Oneness — Feels like every soul is inside you. Begin integration with existence.Oneness — Can feel everyone and everything.Oneness beyond time — Can perceive parallel realities and beyond time.Primordial State — Integration with God/Existence/Emptiness (depending on your perspective). #yiv3740496385 #yiv3740496385 -- #yiv3740496385ygrp-mkp {border:1px solid #d8d8d8;font-family:Arial;margin:10px 0;padding:0 10px;}#yiv3740496385 #yiv3740496385ygrp-mkp hr {border:1px solid #d8d8d8;}#yiv3740496385 #yiv3740496385ygrp-mkp #yiv3740496385hd {color:#628c2a;font-size:85%;font-weight:700;line-height:122%;margin:10px 0;}#yiv3740496385 #yiv3740496385ygrp-mkp #yiv3740496385ads {margin-bottom:10px;}#yiv3740496385 #yiv3740496385ygrp-mkp .yiv3740496385ad {padding:0 0;}#yiv3740496385 #yiv3740496385ygrp-mkp .yiv3740496385ad p {margin:0;}#yiv3740496385 #yiv3740496385ygrp-mkp .yiv3740496385ad a {color:#ff;text-decoration:none;}#yiv3740496385 #yiv3740496385ygrp-sponsor #yiv3740496385ygrp-lc {font-family:Arial;}#yiv3740496385 #yiv3740496385ygrp-sponsor #yiv3740496385ygrp-lc #yiv3740496385hd {margin:10px 0px;font-weight:700;font-size:78%;line-height:122%;}#yiv3740496385 #yiv3740496385ygrp-sponsor #yiv3740496385ygrp-lc .yiv3740496385ad {margin-bottom:10px;padding:0 0;}#yiv3740496385 #yiv3740496385actions {font-family:Verdana;font-size:11px;padding:10px 0;}#yiv3740496385 #yiv3740496385activity {background-color:#e0ecee;float:left;font-family:Verdana;font-size:10px;padding:10px;}#yiv3740496385 #yiv3740496385activity span {font-weight:700;}#yiv3740496385 #yiv3740496385activity span:first-child {text-transform:uppercase;}#yiv3740496385 #yiv3740496385activity span a
[FairfieldLife] Re: Everything is Information
Campbell states that the universe is information in a virtual reality. This information is stated in bits, such as a photon or no photon. He uses the famous double-slit experiment to make his point. For example, The default state of light is its wave nature when it goes through the double slit. This is shown as a diffraction pattern on the screen placed behind the slits. However, when a photon counter is placed at the slits, the diffraction pattern disappears and becomes two bands of light, showing the particle nature of light. He also used another example of this experiment where the data are recorded and stored for several weeks after the experiment. Then, the data pertaining to the photon counts at the slits are erased. So, you would expect that the two bands of light on the screen would remain the same. But NO, the recorded data shows a diffraction pattern showing the wave nature of light, which is its default state. Campbell argues that it isn't the observer that collapsed the wave function. Rather, it is the information that made the particle pattern. If you understand this experiment, you'll understand that the universe is virtual reality or that Information is the basis of the universe, according to Campbell. I was the only one at the academy who went on the anti-war march in London in 2003 for instance. It would be great if TM was an effective way of influencing world events but it after all these years it should be obvious it isn't. All those once enthusiastic people sitting around in the domes is a waste of manpower. The world won't save itself y'know. Heaven on Earth won't fall out of the sky at us while we've got our eyes closed. It's typical of the cultish environment around Marshy that he could change the way people thought in an instant. Once upon a time people in the TMO were so India-centric they forgot about the culture they lived in, until he pronounced that we should respect the institutions we are born into, particularly undemocratic ones like royalty, the idea of an unbroken line of rulers appealed to him for some reason. But the thing to note is that everyone suddenly started going to see the trooping of the colour at Buckingham palace and surreal things like that. Then it switched to the original, indigenous rulers of the country, the American Indians in your case and erm, the druids (?) in ours. I can't remember how that pronouncement went down in Fairfield, maybe someone there could give us the details? But I do remember TM representatives in some countries in South America having photo op's with tribal elders. Well, something akin to a swat team descended on the house, and the man was arrested and there was the potential of a six year prison sentence or something along those lines. Apart from the debate of gun control, and what you think about that, the situation is so utterly different than what you have here. Yes, I know America is viewed as crazy for the amount of guns we have circulating, but it was the overwhelming response to the possession of one gun in a household, that rather shocked me. Just some musings. I feel like that about Fairfield. All those wonders I could never get bored of just on your doorstep, probably keep you busy for several lifetimes. But I know plenty of people who live in London that never go out and drink in it's wonders, all those museums and galleries and old churches and historic walks, the docks and parks and shops and the river with its endless cafes and the world famous scenery that never gets boring. I don't blame them for wanting to come and visit but if you come and there's a major demo on you've got to join in. Re The idea was that the people who lived in the country first were closest to the natural laws of the country: I wonder if there might be something in this. Could it be the case that a country is not simply a patch of real estate but is in some sense a living being in its own right? What I'm thinking of is William Blake's prophetic poem Jerusalem, the Emanation of Albion which tells the story of the fall of Albion, the Universal Humanity. In the poem, Albion is both a man and a land (Britain). Blake's idea of the divine Albion (the British Isles) would have parallels in other places. Can a land modify the behaviour of settlers who move into it - as Europeans did into north America? Is that so far-fetched an idea? Probably - but it does appeal to me. ---In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, steve.sundur@... wrote : ---In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, no_re...@yahoogroups.com wrote : Must have been around 1999/2000 up until the introduction of raja's. http://thewashingtonsun.com/?p=9724 http://thewashingtonsun.com/?p=9724 PGDF PARTNERS WITH DAVID LYNCH FOUNDATION TO STUDY TRANSCENDENTAL MEDITATION AND ALCOHOLISM JUNE 10, 2015 http://thewashingtonsun.com/?p=9724 THEWASHINGTONSUN http://thewashingtonsun.com/?author=1 The Peter G. Dodge Foundation (PGDF) announces its first research grant, to be awarded to the David Lynch Foundation for a feasibility study on Transcendental Meditation (TM) and alcohol dependence. The study will attempt to establish whether TM is useful in preventing relapse following inpatient treatment for alcohol use disorder. The David Lynch Foundation will contract with the Friends Research Institute, a non-profit research institution specializing in substance use health services research, to conduct the study. Principal Investigator Jan Gryczynski, PhD, will lead the project at the Avery Road Treatment Center in Rockville, MD. Avery Road is an inpatient treatment facility annually serving over 400 patients with a primary diagnosis of AUD. The practice of TM involves the silent repetition of a mantra during short meditation sessions performed twice daily. The technique has been shown to improve cardiac health, boost cognitive development, and reduce stress, as well as symptoms of PTSD, anxiety and depression. Previous studies of TM and addiction have shown promise, yet no new research has been conducted since the mid-1990’s. The objective of the PGDF/ DLF study is to establish feasibility for a larger NIH-funded study.
Re: [FairfieldLife] Re: Flag Flap
I agree that we would all be better off if we had a British or even Japanese system. but it will never happen here. I own no guns, by brother who lives a 5 minute walk away from here has at least 3 revolvers, numerous shotguns and rifles including an SKS carbine ( A Russian semi-automatic) - he has used it in the past for deer hunting. Takes one of his revolvers with him whenever he gets in his truck. A guy shoots dead nine people in a church and a governor says, take down a flag! We need drastic gun control now! This is a serious civil rights issue. The gun nuts may rant about their 2nd Amendment rights, but their precious 2nd Amendment is dripping in blood and has been for a long time. What about my rights as an ordinary citizen to walk the streets, go to the mall, go to church, without the fear of getting shot? We need a mass, citizens-inspired movement that will make the government fulfill its responsibilities to protect our safety. No guns for anyone unless they have a very compelling reason to own one. ---In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, mjackson74@... wrote : Can't believe Haley did it, but apparently she did Haley of South Carolina Calls for Removal of Confederate Battle Flag | | | | | | | | | | | Haley of South Carolina Calls for Removal of Confederate...Gov. Re: [FairfieldLife] Fuck the Fucking Fuckers!
Right, we never got top tier, but usually third tier, and maybe an occasional second tier. But, the third tiers were usually pretty open to getting recognized, even if it was a Maharishi Award. I remember during the Washington Ideal Society Campaign giving an award to a local Doctor or chemist who invented a burn remedy called FRST. I mean, it really meant something to him to be recognized, when his invention just wasn't getting any traction. Those were good times. One of my mates there would make fresh yogurt every day. Hung yogurt, I recall. ---In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, no_re...@yahoogroups.com wrote : ---In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, steve.sundur@... wrote : ---In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, no_re...@yahoogroups.com wrote : Must have been around 1999/2000 up until the introduction of raja's. The idea was that the people who lived in the country first were closest to the natural laws of the country because they had the folk medicines that come from closeness to nature and things like that. So they were most likely to make the best rulers (in Marshy's thinking). I was quite the foot soldier, and it was many a celebration I organized during my teaching days, giving out an Ideal Society Awards, or some such thing to leaders in different fields. Usually, they were quite honored to be recognized, even if they weren't quite sure what it was all about. In my academy I found tons of neatly filed letters from successful people in all walks of life politely refusing invitations to banquets etc. What a busy movement they were back in the day! I had a letter saying thank you for the Maharishi Award from the secretary of Maggie Thatcher in my office. I wish I'd kept all this stuff as it's priceless. Seems like a distant memory, but it did hone my public speaking skills, and skills for dealing with the public. There's nothing like being forced to speak in public to toughen you up, I made many a grovelling introduction for the higher-ups and speeches at cake cutting ceremonies. What fun. Good cake too. : salyavin808 no_re...@yahoogroups.com To: FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com Sent: Monday, June 22, 2015 3:44 PM Subject: Re: [FairfieldLife] Fuck the Fucking Fuckers! ---In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, mjackson74@... wrote : Well that is cool, I had no idea - I was really just looking around to see what numbers were being bandied about as to how many participants there were and I stumbled on this. so how many TM'ers were there? Any rajas show up? Any TMers on a demo? You're kidding right! One of Marshy's most dangerous pronouncements was that we (meaning people who do TM) shouldn't go on demonstrations because our energies are better used to change society by influencing nature at the level of the unified field . This worried me because a lot of the people who got into TM were idealists who wanted a better world and some I know where involved in groups like the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, but not once they'd met the reesh. I was the only one at the academy who went on the anti-war march in London in 2003 for instance. It would be great if TM was an effective way of influencing world events but it after all these years it should be obvious it isn't. Maybe it's also obvious that demonstrations don't change world events all that much but they are at least visible to people who may not be aware of what is going on, and if everyone who cared got active we could do something surely? All this craziness was forgotten in an instant when the first raja was crowned as we suddenly had our own lineage. Astounding but true. A pitifully inadequate response. ---In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, mjackson74@... wrote : Can't believe Haley did it, but apparently she did Haley of South Carolina Calls for Removal of Confederate Battle Flag http://www.nytimes.com/2015/06/23/us/south-carolina-confederate-flag-dylann-roof.html?hpaction=clickpgtype=Homepagemodule=first-column-regionregion=top-newsWT.nav=top-news_r=0 http://www.nytimes.com/2015/06/23/us/south-carolina-confederate-flag-dylann-roof.html?hpaction=clickpgtype=Homepagemodule=first-column-regionregion=top-newsWT.nav=top-news_r=0 Haley of South Carolina Calls for Removal of Confederate... http://www.nytimes.com/2015/06/23/us/south-carolina-confederate-flag-dylann-roof.html?hpaction=clickpgtype=Homepagemodule=first-column-regionregion=top-newsWT.nav=top-news_r=0 Gov. Butthe thing to note is that everyone suddenly started going to see thetrooping of the colour at Buckingham palace and surreal things likethat. God Almighty Damn! Did they really do that after he said such things? Yes indeed, and I was amazed. I really felt like they would do anything if he suggested it but the creepy bit was the speed of the turn round, talk about aligning your thinking with the master! It didn't suit me of course, I felt that the original promise of TM was being more self reliant and listening to the inner voice more clearly so it seemed odd that people were letting someone else decide what they thought about things, Thenit switched to the original, indigenous rulers of the country, theAmerican Indians in your case and erm, the druids (?) in ours. I can'tremember how that pronouncement went down in Fairfield, maybe someonethere could give us the details? But I do remember TM representatives insome countries in South America having photo op's with tribal elders. Allthis craziness was forgotten in an instant when the first raja wascrowned as we suddenly had our own lineage. Astounding but true. That is the first I have heard of this - I would love to know exactly what and when he said it all. Must have been around 1999/2000 up until the introduction of raja's. The idea was that the people who lived in the country first were closest to the natural laws of the country because they had the folk medicines that come from closeness to nature and things like that. So they were most likely to make the best rulers (in Marshy's thinking). A search went up from the long term staff in every country to find the indigenous people's elders and announce a partnership with the TMO dignifying their right to the throne (if they were interested). I wish, wish, wish I'd kept some pics or a video. But as movement trends go it lasted about the usual time, a few years and it was a distant memory due to Tony Nader's discovery of ved in human physiology, consequent rajadom and the rest is a history we all know. During most of the practice though, before this

---In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, jr_esq@... wrote : Campbell states that the universe is information in a virtual reality. The experiment is amazing, not to mention very creepy, and opened a new world for investigation but it's nothing new. But it is very odd and open to interpretation. The default state of all electromagnetism is particles (Einstein won his Noble prize for proving that) but they travel like waves. This is the mystery and there are ways of describing it that make it sound stranger than it is but at it's heart is the fact that particles can interfere with each other, or with themselves in parallel universes perhaps, that is unusual and counter-intuitive. I don't see where consciousness comes into it, the majority of physicists don't think it critical at all, including the ones who formulated quantum theory. The idea of measurement doesn't require us, the term was meant to mean any interaction that particles have. If it did require us I can't imagine what that would mean for every branch of science we have. I could go on and on and have done in the past but basically what are humans if the world can't exist without us? What could be going on and how did it get here? I do live in a virtual reality programme though, we all do, it's the one created inside our heads by the spongy gubbins buzzing away non-stop. But the Cartesian theatre of conscious perception has no quantum component as the brain is too hot and none of the structures inside are small enough to be capable of quantum events (quantum simply meaning of a certain very small size). I don't think there's any weird extra explanation required for consciousness that goes beyond the one needed to explain how the stuff in my head creates my vision of the world. Do we need particle physics for that? I think the fact that consciousness isn't fully explained gives people a certain leeway with the imagination. Maybe these guys would be better off showing why they think it's actually impossible to account for experience with what we have before they go extrapolating beyond what we currently know.. Yes, I think that's a pretty common occurrence, taking for granted the unique features of where you live. Another thing that sort of blows my mind, is that my wife told me that someone in Great Britain was discovered to be in possession of a gun. It may have been a gun that was inherited from WWII. ---In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, no_re...@yahoogroups.com wrote : ---In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, steve.sundur@... wrote : Here's what sorta blows my mind. Re: [FairfieldLife] Re: Flag Flap
Everyone has a compelling reason to own a gun. Had one person had a conceal/carry permit in that church, he could have possibly prevented all of the others from being killed by a deranged person. Guns and amendments don't kill people, people kill people. Take away people's rights to own guns legally and you make them victims to those who could care less about laws telling them they can't have one. It's a wonderful poem, that Jerusalem, S3raphita. It sounds like you know it well, which is rather amazing, since very few people do, unless they are Blake scholars. I lived with it for several years when I was studying Blake. This is the title page: Jerusalem, at the bottom, asleep, waiting for Albion to arise, who will then awaken her. Vala, the woman just above Jerusalem on the left, is awake, of course, since she is Nature, who holds sway while the spiritual value that Jerusalem represents sleeps. Perhaps you know all this. Seems like a distant memory, but it did hone my public speaking skills, and skills for dealing with the public. All those once enthusiastic people sitting around in the domes is a waste of manpower. The world won't save itself y'know.

Excellent. Support a corrupt social practice (slavery) with a killing machine that ensures you can maim and mortally wound your adversary without even seeing the color of their eyes. That damned flag. As vile as Mason's forehead swastika tattoo.
