[Audyssey] nights of parasite level 3

I can't find anything to get through the green magnet door either. i've got the

[Audyssey] Audio Games.net, Audyssey, And Klango Teaming up!

2008-11-18 Thread Trenton Matthews
Hi folks!

Several of the folks around the world of Klango are wondering if anyone on
Audio Games.net and I myself am wondering on Audyssey are wanting to have a way
that Klango users and other gaming users can interact in within the same world.
I wonder if it'd be a problem for audyssey to have their own forum on Klango!
Same with Audio Games.net. More interaction would be quite an awesome thing,
especially since a topic for eamon adventurers I made is on there, and also, a
topic for Night Of Parasite is on there as well!
If anyone thinks it's a good idea, sign up for a Klango account at:
http://klango.net
and make your opinions heard!
PS. Dark from the ivory tower is requested to sign up from a few Klangans,
(as klango users are officially called,) plus any other gamers, as the vast
world is wanting their knowledge! Also, a topic for the folks at the audio
network
http://pressakey.net
was brought up, and I'm hoping to get Bill from there to be apart of the world
as well!

Ah yes,...
You can still get them for the apple 2E, or use an apple emulator as well,
have no experience with the apple emulator myself.
I wonder how hard it would be to pla those now these days on an apple
emulator. But yes, for me, I prefer sticking with the windows and dos side
of things.

I remember playing these Eamon games at a friend of mine's when I was
younger and really liking them ... only problem was I hardly ever visited
her so really only got through the first adventure that came on the master
disk, plus maybe another one for sure. I'm assuming this is for Windows,
but I still doubt I'd be able to use it at the moment as everything
nowadays is being programmed for XP or higher, and I'm still stuck using
Windows Millennium. Sounds like a neat game though. Wish I could play
it. I might give it a try when we get plans going for me to use an XP
computer that we have here in our house that's not being used. I'll give
one of my roommates the one I'm on now, so maybe it won't be too long and
I can try some of these new games out for myself.

The deluxe version is not confusing, although annoying at the start. The

that. Although I wonder if that will even help.

Okay, all my manipulations with the window seem to have worked.

the good news is changing the window size to 800 x 600 manually in the
properties tab of the Eamon window (you have to right click the top of
the window to get it), does create a big enough window to view all on
screen text.

the bad news is, whenever I attempt to run anything in the game involving
characters, ie, choosing a character, editing a character, I get a
weerd program screen with lots of code on it and something about
debugging!

I've tried putting the window and fonts and stuff back, but no joy,
and in fact if I remember rightly this is why i stopped mucking about
with Eamon the other day!

obn the one hand, i'm just about to give up with this, on the other
if I can get this bloody thing to work, i might have cracked the text
issue!

I haven't looked at Vip for a while, but one thing that *really* puts me
off, is the need of having to know a little scripting to make even the
easiest Trigger. I remember it seemed very difficult, but I sure would
love
to know how, to give this client a decent go. I currently use Gmud,
which
is such an easy client to make triggers, alias's and macros in. I also
got
a bit lost, when I tried to figure out, if Vip could have macros too?
So, any help with these things would be greatly appreciated.

Hey all,
I know there are many people who have asked questions or don't
understand

the use of vip mud. I am willing to try and put together a tutorial for
it
since I use it frequently. I can't promise how good it will be written
since
I am not the greatest at writing but I understand vip mud a least a bit.
What I want to know is what sort of trouble is everyone having? what
questions are there or what are people unsure of? This way I can work
off
that and address the issues. I do not understand how to actually write
my

own scripts yet. though I would like to learn, but the rest of the stuff

Level 3 can be rather tough indeed. And yes there are some entrances that
loop back. Sadly my map of level 3 isn't exactly clear in my mind since I've
only been through the game once. It can be rather tough when you have to run
past the mosquitos as well, but if at al possible do that instead of using
your pesticide gun. Look for a gate on the second level, I remember that
being inportant. And you need a green magnet card to open the green magnet
door, I believe that might be behind said gate somewhere. Sorry I can't
really help more at the moment.

Oh great. This is why I don't like using open source software. I hope the
website content is still there. I don't have an internet connection to
  work
on it yet. I've moved house and the phone and internet connection is
 still

Anyway, other than that, work on the game continues as normal.

Yeah.
I stopped playing technoshock because I could never get passed the
fireballs in level2.
Level1 is easy, keep the electricity on your right, and find the door with
the nav.

Once the door is in front of you you will have to chop it with the axe.
Shoot the guard or rather cut him down and get the amo and rifle, turn off
the switch and head to the lift, getting the targeting scope on the way.

There is a bot you can't do anything about, by the lift.
Open the lift, and then push up arrow to get in the lift.
After that I have no idea.
I really never got the game done at all, and with all the acid pits and
other distractions I eventually gave up.

I haven't looked at Vip for a while, but one thing that *really* puts me

easiest Trigger. I remember it seemed very difficult, but I sure would
 love

 which
is such an easy client to make triggers, alias's and macros in. I also
 got

I have no idea what an Apple 2E emulator is either, and I'm not sure if I
can even use Dos on this computer, so like I said I'm probably out of luck
playing these. It would be fun to play them again though if there was a
way of doing it, so I may take a look at getting this whenever I get the XP
computer up and going again.

I remember playing these Eamon games at a friend of mine's when I was
younger and really liking them ... only problem was I hardly ever visited
her so really only got through the first adventure that came on the
master disk, plus maybe another one for sure. I'm assuming this is for
Windows, but I still doubt I'd be able to use it at the moment as
everything nowadays is being programmed for XP or higher, and I'm still
stuck using Windows Millennium. Sounds like a neat game though. Wish I
could play it. I might give it a try when we get plans going for me to
use an XP computer that we have here in our house that's not being
used. I'll give one of my roommates the one I'm on now, so maybe it
won't be too long and I can try some of these new games out for myself.

Okay, all my manipulations with the window seem to have worked.

the good news is changing the window size to 800 x 600 manually in the
properties tab of the Eamon window (you have to right click the top of
the window to get it), does create a big enough window to view all on
screen text.

the bad news is, whenever I attempt to run anything in the game
involving characters, ie, choosing a character, editing a character,
I get a weerd program screen with lots of code on it and something
about debugging!

I've tried putting the window and fonts and stuff back, but no
joy, and in fact if I remember rightly this is why i stopped mucking
about with Eamon the other day!

obn the one hand, i'm just about to give up with this, on the
other if I can get this bloody thing to work, i might have cracked the
text issue!

I have no idea what an Apple 2E emulator is either, and I'm not sure if I
can even use Dos on this computer, so like I said I'm probably out of luck
playing these. It would be fun to play them again though if there was a
way of doing it, so I may take a look at getting this whenever I get the
XP computer up and going again.

I wonder how hard it would be to pla those now these days on an apple
emulator. But yes, for me, I prefer sticking with the windows and dos side
of things.

I remember playing these Eamon games at a friend of mine's when I was
younger and really liking them ... only problem was I hardly ever visited
her so really only got through the first adventure that came on the
master disk, plus maybe another one for sure. I'm assuming this is for
Windows, but I still doubt I'd be able to use it at the moment as
everything nowadays is being programmed for XP or higher, and I'm still
stuck using Windows Millennium. Sounds like a neat game though. Wish I
could play it. I might give it a try when we get plans going for me to
use an XP computer that we have here in our house that's not being used.
I'll give one of my roommates the one I'm on now, so maybe it won't be
too long and I can try some of these new games out for myself.

Here's the manual if you need it:

The deluxe version is not confusing, although annoying at the start. The
manual said something about removing the qbasic program, so I'm gonna
try that. Although I wonder if that will even help.

Okay, all my manipulations with the window seem to have worked.

the good news is changing the window size to 800 x 600 manually in the
properties tab of the Eamon window (you have to right click the top of
the window to get it), does create a big enough window to view all on
screen text.

the bad news is, whenever I attempt to run anything in the game
involving characters, ie, choosing a character, editing a
character, I get a weerd program screen with lots of code on it
and something about debugging!

I've tried putting the window and fonts and stuff back, but no
joy, and in fact if I remember rightly this is why i stopped mucking
about with Eamon the other day!

obn the one hand, i'm just about to give up with this, on the
other if I can get this bloody thing to work, i might have cracked the
text issue!

Fantastic Vista Computers and How to get games to play on them.

by Phil Vlasak
We installed JFW on the new Vista computer then Installed several games.
Super Egg Hunt, version 1.1.
Bop It Ultimate, version 1.1.
SuperDog's Bone Hunt, version 1.1.
Jim Kitchen's WinLife3.
Trying to play them gave the same message:
Project1
Run-time error '429':
ActiveX component can't create object

We checked and DirectX 10 was updated and installed.
We even installed the last DirectX 9 with no help in playing the games.
Finally after ten hours of trying everything I could think of, with all hope
gone I took a chance and with my last ounce of strength, I installed,
Shades of Doom, version 1.2.
We used the default settings and put it into
C:\Program Files.
Suddenly, Angels started to sing and we danced around the computer room as
the game ran perfectly!
Then we tried all the other games and they all ran perfectly.

David must have put every last VB6 library in that baby.
Now I can get on to the difficult task of importing Email, Address book and
DMA music onto the new computer.

 Hi ron
yes, it's just the three chapter the last, but maybe he will add more
chapters and if so, like 6 or 7 chapters i, personaly, will like much
more than sod. i awreade like it more than sod bekause the rp elements,
levels that you can gain experience and pass, and the difficulty realy
increasing, like on easy, on level 1 you just need two shoots to kill
the first monsters, and on level 3 skill, you will need 4 or 5 shoots,
so it's replayable and fun, and i'm talking to the developer to he put
some randon monsters tow, to increase still more the replayability of
 the game.

 Hey all

Have gotten past level 1 in the game. I'm not sure if there is really
anything one can do with the electric box though. It's not all that
 difficult I think.
Level 2 however seems to be somewhat smaller. Is this just me or did I
not get all that far in it?
Lastly how far does the game go? Is 3 the last level? If so I hope it's
further developed as the game seems alot of fun. Reminding me of SOD.

 Take care

After the third level you get a wait for the next version dialogue and a
save game thingy pops up. The final boss battle takes a lot more strategy
than the other boss battles. This one you absolutely can not sit there and
go toe to toe with the boss. You'd better have plenty of med's, lots of
ammo, and the most powerful gun you can find. It's a triple boss battle.
For those of you reading this, a heads up, don't make the same mistake I
did, save your pesticide ammo. You only get one shot, and you'll need i

[Audyssey] ok solved more of night of parasite

2008-11-18 Thread shaun everiss
Hi all.
One thing that I wish would be announced is when you reach a box that is locked
the name of the box is reannounced.
I got the silver key and all items in the silver box.
I also killed the evil woman and got the blue key.
I got the med eye from the second floor of chapter 2 and went around the acid
only to find that I needed a code.
Ie the guidence indicated there was more in here.
So am I missing something, I have gone through most of the rooms, so now where
is the blue door.
Man I really need a walkthrough for some of the tricky parts.
I also have no more amo for my pistol or revolver at the mo as used it all on
monsters.
I also will have to get more meds and such.
Someone really needs to do a walkthrough of the game and a play along of the
game with stratogies on how to get past sertain bits.
The first chapter was a breeze, nothing really to it once you got the layout
of the electric boxes.
However this chapter 2 has got me stumped although I managed to figure out
where more stuff was enabling me to go foreward.
Hmm I wander for lower experience levels, ie level 1 that we can have it where
no monsters appear in rooms after they have got killed.
Its all well and good knowing where they are but after you have killed them a
hundred times or so its boring.
